Frankie for a girl

After much back and forth with trying to figure out baby girls name, we’ve narrowed it down to two different options.

[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], I’m not a fan of Francesca/Francis etc

Big brothers name is [name_u]Henry[/name_u]

Which do you think pairs best?

I feel like [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] wont work well on a adult but its a cute nn. I prefer ut for a boy tho

I think [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] is adorable on a girl, but I definitely prefer it as a nickname. [name_f]Francine[/name_f]? [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is also super cute. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it.

I prefer [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]! I think it matches better with the style of [name_u]Henry[/name_u] and has better nickname options -Tilly, [name_f]Tilda[/name_f], [name_u]Mattie[/name_u], [name_f]Mae[/name_f] etc.

I would only use [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] as a nn to [name_f]Francesca[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f] or [name_f]Francine[/name_f] etc. There’s something severe and certainly juvenile about the name to me that would stop me using it as a standalone.

I love [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] for a girl but I think [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] works better with [name_u]Henry[/name_u]

I actually can only think of [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] being a girl name, I can’t imagine anyone actually naming a boy [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] so I think it would be adorable.

[name_u]Frankie[/name_u] is sparky and cool!! Stylish and fun. [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is classic, strong but sweet!

[name_u]Henry[/name_u] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] are the more ‘expected’ set, [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and [name_u]Henry[/name_u] adds a fun twist

Hmm

[name_u]Frankie[/name_u] is fun and works well for either gender it’s just I do prefer [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] as a nickname for either [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] or [name_f]Frances[/name_f]. I also think [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] doesn’t fit so stylistically with [name_u]Henry[/name_u]. [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] feels too informal paired with [name_u]Henry[/name_u].

[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is my preferred option she’s so wholesome, sweet and has gorgeous cottagecore imagery. [name_u]Henry[/name_u] + [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] are beautiful together

I think [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] is a lovey choice for a girl! I don’t think you’d necessarily need to choose a longer name for it to be a nickname for.

@cmsteele492 I don’t think you can honestly go wrong here, both names are beautiful, and fun in different ways. But I LOVE [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] on a little girl! I’d love to use it myself someday, but don’t know if I’m brave enough to pull it off. To me, [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] is a little girl whois loving, knows what she wants, and is bold, fearless, independent, and unafraid to stand up for what she believes in. Everything I’d want her to be. Go with whichever one you love more! I have a feeling that it’s [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], but if it’s [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], then go with that one.

I hope this helps and congratulations!

I like [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] better and think it goes better with [name_u]Henry[/name_u].

I love [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]! I think she’s so adorable. I’ve met child and adult Frankies and it’s worked great for both ages. [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is also really pretty and has better nickname potential if that’s something important to you. I agree with @Greyblue that [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] would be more expected with [name_u]Henry[/name_u], but my vote still goes to [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]. [name_u]Henry[/name_u] and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] are so sweet !

I really like both names, but as Henry’s sibling I would go for [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. I find the R’s in [name_u]Henry[/name_u] and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] trip me up when I try to say them together! It only comes down to that because [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] are pretty much tied with how much Iike them both!

[name_u]Frankie[/name_u] is cute and spunky; I personally prefer it as a nickname though but if you like it as is, that’s all that matters! [name_u]Henry[/name_u] & [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] are fun and charming siblings!

[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is gorgeous, it’s so sweet and lovely! I adore her with [name_u]Henry[/name_u], they sound like the perfect lil sibset!

You can’t go wrong with either one, but I’d personally vote for [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]! If you wanted to give her a nickname, [name_u]Henry[/name_u] & [name_u]Mattie[/name_u] or [name_u]Henry[/name_u] & [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] would be so adorable together too!!!

[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] fits better with [name_u]Henry[/name_u] stylistically. And I personally only like [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] as a nickname for a name like [name_f]Francesca[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f], etc. So I’d say [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], even though I do think [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] is cute as a nickname.

[name_u]Frankie[/name_u] is girly but casual. [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is more formal. I think [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] paired with a really elegant middle name would be excellent.

I would go with [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] on its own isn’t very flexible. I would assume [name_u]Henry[/name_u] and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] were brothers, not brother and sister, and I would go with a longer version. [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_u]Henry[/name_u] is nice.

I dig it, the last baby I came across online was a girl named [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]. [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is a good name too
