French family with 5 names each! Unique naming system too

I came across this on a french site for baby names, each of their children has 5 names and this is how they choose them:

the first name is the one that was unanimous among Dad and mom, the second is the godparent,
the third is [name]Marie[/name], the fourth is the personal choice of the mother, the fifth is the personal choice of father…
so their 6 kids are named:

[name]Roxane[/name] [name]Isabelle[/name] [name]Marie[/name] Tiphaine Agnès.
[name]Colombe[/name] [name]Claude[/name] [name]Marie[/name] Ophélie [name]Claire[/name].
Théophane [name]Raymond[/name] [name]Marie[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] [name]Guillaume[/name].
[name]Esther[/name] [name]Virginie[/name] [name]Marie[/name] [name]Gabrielle[/name] Thérèse.
Silouane [name]Christian[/name] [name]Marie[/name] Melen Théophile.
Loup [name]Pascal[/name] [name]Marie[/name] [name]Tristan[/name] [name]Fran[/name]çois.

Names I like: [name]Roxane[/name], [name]Colombe[/name], [name]Marie[/name] [name]Ophelie[/name], Theophane, [name]Virginie[/name], [name]Theophile[/name], [name]Pascal[/name], Francois, [name]Guillaume[/name]

[name]Just[/name] thought it was pretty interesting and wanted to share!

This is so interesting! I love [name]Colombe[/name], [name]Ophelie[/name], Theophane, [name]Virginie[/name], Melen and [name]Theophile[/name]. Their naming system is so unique but it makes sense - you have a unity among the children with [name]Marie[/name], include family/friends with the godparent, a first name that the parents agree on and then one that you adore. Wow, wow, wow. I’m going to look up these names now. Thanks for sharing!!

a little much, but they are gorgeous! Thanks!

I always find that any more than two middles just looks and sounds like a bunch of names smashed together. I like their egalitarian naming system but it doesn’t make names flow very well.

Its definitely a bit much even for French Catholics (which my family is too) but it created some very interesting names lol

This. I love their naming method though!

Because I never pay attention to non-English-language birth announcements (and even in English, I only bother to read blogs, not the original announcements), this is the first time I’ve seen Tiphaine used. [name]Colombe[/name] I hadn’t even heard of.

Certainly nifty, but I think that the “letting everyone get their wish” is taken a little too far here.
