We recently found out we are expecting baby #2 and I am so lost trying to even get a boy list started! Our 18mo is [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Céleste[/name_f] and whatever name we pick needs to work in both [name_m]French[/name_m] and [name_f]English[/name_f]. I love [name_m]French[/name_m] names but the most important part to me is my parents being able to pronounce their grandkids’ names!
Our girl list is down to Élodie and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] with mn [name_f]Brigette[/name_f].
Because of my extended family the “names we can’t use” list is pretty long- of those, the ones I love are [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]. I don’t like alliteration so M names are out.
Two names my partner loves but I’m unsure about are [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_m]Connor[/name_m]. I don’t love the Fr pronunciation or spelling of Oliv(i)er, and we live in [name_f]Canada[/name_f] so a “Connor McD” just seems like a bad idea.
Beyond what I don’t like I have absolutely no clue where to start- ideas much appreciated.

Thanks for all the suggestions! EagleEyes is right that I tend towards particular sounds so I’m sure it’s not surprising that my favourites are Jules/Julien, Leo/Leon, Theo, and Simon. I had never remotely considered Sébastien before but my partner and I both agree it’s at the top of our mn list now
