Have hit a brick wall when it comes to a name for our baby boy, due in 8 weeks. We have a few we like, but nothing seems right yet. Our daughter has a Celtic name, so would quite like something to complement this; nothing super popular or conventional, but also not too out there! Looking for some fresh ideas, if anyone has a few suggestions…

I agree with Icejaguar, what are some specific names you like? Also, you could go to “Search For A Name” and change the origin preference to Celtic for Celtic names. I did that and here are a few boys’ names I liked of Celtic origin:

My favorite Irish boy’s name right now is [name]Cormac[/name]. Fave Scottish boys’ names are [name]Alasdair[/name], [name]Rowan[/name], [name]Magnuss[/name], and [name]Colin[/name]. [name]Trevor[/name] is my fave Welsh name. [name]Arthur[/name] is my fave English name from long ago.

[name]Oscar[/name] Has had a rise in popularity over the last few years. It reminds me of [name]Oscar[/name] Wilde. It may be a little matchy with [name]Orla[/name]. [name]Orla[/name] and [name]Oscar[/name].
[name]Felix[/name] A lovely name
[name]Malachy[/name] I prefer it spelt as [name]Malachi[/name]. I like the name [name]Kai[/name] but [name]Mal[/name] being the French word for Bad puts this name right off my list.
[name]Callum[/name] Okay but a little bland
[name]Arlan[/name] Interesting
[name]Dylan[/name] Sorry to say that [name]Dylan[/name] is one of my pet hates. I cannot understand why a parent would want to name their child ‘a dill’ which means you are stupid where we live.
