[name_u]Baby[/name_u] number 2, a sister to [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] “[name_u]Georgie[/name_u]”, is due at the end of [name_f]April[/name_f], and I’m in need of some fresh ideas for a name. I love the spunk and beauty [name_f]Georgina[/name_f]'s name has.
Right now, the only real contender my husband and I have agreed upon is [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Michaela[/name_f] “[name_u]Jules[/name_u]”.
I’ve been liking the name [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] as well, but haven’t convinced my husband to include it on our list just yet.
I would love to have 2-3 strong contenders to take with us to the hospital, but am coming up empty handed and am beginning to feel stressed.
I need a fresh perspective! What would you all name a sister to [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]?
I love [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] together – [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]! (Or [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] if the two boyish nicknames don’t appeal to you).
I also like [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] ([name_u]Mattie[/name_u] or [name_f]Tillie[/name_f])
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Loretta[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Camilla[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] - [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] and [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u] is extremely cute.
Sorry for any repeats. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps!
Congratulations! I love [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].
Here are some more ideas …
[name_u]Allison[/name_u] [name_f]Jessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Bethany[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Ivory[/name_u] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Katrina[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Marissa[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f]
What is it that your husband doesn’t like about [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]? Would another [name_f]Belle[/name_f] name, like [name_f]Amabelle[/name_f]/[name_f]Amabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f]/[name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] appeal to him or to you? Or maybe another [name_f]Anne[/name_f] name, like [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f], [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]/[name_f]Annelise[/name_f] or [name_f]Annette[/name_f] would work better. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], [name_f]Catharina[/name_f], [name_f]Delphine[/name_f], [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f], [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Roseanne[/name_f], [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f], [name_f]Theodora[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] - just a few suggestions. It seems that you like longer names with nicknames - me, too - so mainly listed some of those I enjoy. Good luck.
You mentioned a few names that were on our list last time ([name_f]Francesca[/name_f], [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]) or on our maybe list this time ([name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]), but nothing is really grabbing me just yet. So many beautiful names, but nothing clicks!
Another name came to mind that was on our list for our first daughter, [name_f]Lia[/name_f]. What are your thoughts on [name_f]Lia[/name_f] being a sister to [name_f]Georgina[/name_f]?
[name_f]Lia[/name_f] [name_f]Michaela[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]
Congratulations on baby #2! I also wanted to say that I love [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], it’s such a lovely name, and it goes with [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] so well.
This is a total shot in the dark here, but what about [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]? It’s similar in style to [name_f]Georgina[/name_f], and comes with the super cute nickname “[name_f]Etta[/name_f]”.
I love Lia Michaela, but maybe with such a long name for your first daughter, you would be better off using Lia as a nickname for something longer, such as Amelia, Emilia or Natalia.
Natalia Michaela and Emilia Micheala flow the best to me.
Good luck!
[name_m]How[/name_m] you are feeling is perfectly understandable! I think it can be quite normal to find it difficult to find the perfect Name Second time around when you chose the perfect Name for your First Child! When our Oldest Daughter (after our miscarriage) arrived she fitted the Name we had chosen PERFECTLY! When our Second Living Daughter was born she looked exactly like her Older [name_f]Sister[/name_f] and it took me days to stop wanting to call her exactly the same Name! Luckily, when she first appeared, I thought, “Gosh! You look just like an [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]!” And so, after a week of procrastinating, she became [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] and it suits her PERFECTLY!! Perhaps when your [name_m]Little[/name_m] One arrives you will know exactly what she looks like? I pray this will happen for you, or that you will find your PERFECT Second Child Name soon (if you haven’t already found it!)!
mummamarigold, thank you so much for your words of advice and sharing your experience. I do hope that one name will jump out at me when our baby girl arrives, and I won’t continue to have this feeling that no name feels just right. My daughters will also be less than a year and a half apart, so because we chose [name_f]Georgina[/name_f]'s name not so long ago, I think that is complicating matters as well!
I just love my daughter [name_f]Georgina[/name_f]'s name so much for its spunky and happy sound (in my mind), that I am racking my brain trying to come up with something that sounds equally as special for my new baby girl.
