[name_f]Freya[/name_f] is the name of the day on Behindthename today. I’m considering adding Freyja back on my girls list. What are your thoughts on the name? [name_m]Favorite[/name_m] variant/spelling?
Thoughts on my old combo Freyja [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f]? I’m not so sure about it anymore.
While I don’t mind the Freyja spelling I think it could be hard to live with, so I’d use [name_f]Freya[/name_f]. I think it’s a good name, has attractive sounds, and is neat, interesting and not over-used.
Freyja [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] works fine as a combo. However while I think [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] is great in the middle I’m not a fan of [name_f]Jade[/name_f]. [name_f]Jade[/name_f] to me is so much used as a middle name that it has lost its gloss, and seems a bit odd alongside 2 really interesting and thoughtful names.
I think Freyja would get misspelled more so I would go with [name_f]Freya[/name_f]
I think [name_f]Freya[/name_f] is a lovely name, with a nice sound and meaning
[name_m]Frey/name_ma [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] sounds fine, though it doesnt have the best flow
Freyja/[name_f]Freya[/name_f] is lovely! I’ve always been a fan of it, but have never been able to picture myself with a baby [name_f]Freya[/name_f], so it’s never stayed on my list for long, unfortunately.
I think [name_f]Freya[/name_f]/Freyja [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is beautiful, I love seeing [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] get some love too, and [name_f]Jade[/name_f]! All three names are a bit underrated imo.
It’s not on my own list, but I really like [name_f]Freya[/name_f]/Freyja. I think Freyja [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] flows very well, but I agree that [name_f]Jade[/name_f] feels a bit abrupt and definitely like the odd name out after Freyja [name_f]Hermione[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Freya[/name_f]! I know the original version has a “j” but I personally don’t like it that way since it goes against my intuitive pronunciation, so I prefer the [name_f]Freya[/name_f] spelling.
It’s such a pretty, whimsical name to me. [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is fantastic. I like the balance between 2 syllables, 4 syllables, and then 1 syllable in the combo. Also love [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] as a middle. I think a lot of names could work as the third one ([name_u]Sage[/name_u] comes to mind) but I like [name_f]Jade[/name_f]. Overall, 10/10 from me!
I really like Freyja, with this spelling. I don’t know why, but I just prefer the look to [name_f]Freya[/name_f]/[name_f]Freja[/name_f]. It looks more authentic to me, and somehow gives a clearer image as Freyja. I have it on my guilty pleasure list due to popularity, but it’s well used for a reason. It’s a great name! Pretty and powerful. I like Freyja [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] a lot. It flows really well, and has a lot of strength behind it.
I prefer [name_f]Freya[/name_f], with that spelling. I’m not keen on [name_f]Hermione[/name_f], but adore [name_f]Jade[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] or [name_f]Jade[/name_f] [name_f]Freya[/name_f]. [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] or [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Henriette[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] both work, too.
We have a [name_f]Freya[/name_f]. She is 6 months old. We absolutely love her name and are so happy about our choice. I have always been super indecisive and flipfloppy with names so I was scared when I had to make a final choice. But honestly [name_f]Freya[/name_f] is a great name and we have had MANY compliments on it. People [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] it. Practically no one from where I am from has ever heard of it before so we some times get an initial what? But when we repeat it and spell it out people say it is absolutely gorgeous. I personally love the [name_f]Freya[/name_f] spelling. I like Freyja too but I think it would be more difficult in a non-Scandinavian country.
I do not like [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] after [name_f]Freya[/name_f] as it doesn’t seem to flow nicely for me. What about
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Boheme[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
I adore [name_f]Freya[/name_f]. Personally, like [name_f]Freya[/name_f] spelling better because I think Freyja could get misspelled a lot more often than [name_f]Freya[/name_f]. Both are gorgeous.
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is a beautiful combo.
Freyja [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] rolls off the tongue very well so it definitely works but I feel like Freyja and [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] are part of the more classic category whereas [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is part of a completely different “modern” category of names.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the spelling [name_f]Freya[/name_f] though- straightforward and easy!
