I like [name]Freya[/name] better, and definitely think it would be easier in [name]Canada[/name] than [name]Freja[/name].
I understand the appeal of [name]Freja[/name], but I think for ease of living with the name in an English speaking country, [name]Freya[/name] is a great option.
I voted for [name]Freja[/name] but I don’t really have a preference. They’re both lovely. In [name]America[/name] a lot of people might not know how to pronounce [name]Freja[/name] though. If that’s what your worried about then you might want to go with [name]Freya[/name].
[name]Freya[/name] for it’s straight-forward pronunciation.
I voted for [name]Freya[/name]. It is visually more appealing, to me, and would be least problematic for pronunciation.
I know in [name]America[/name] that name would get some weird pronunciations if it was spelled like [name]Freja[/name]. Is [name]Free[/name]-jay here?

[name]Freya[/name] is one of those names where I love the -y- in the middle of the name. It’s also the most common spelling (I think) here in NA.
In the case of a rarely used name I’d probably opt for that (well I’d usually opt for that to be honest).
I think most people would pronounce [name]Freja[/name] “[name]Free[/name]-juh” or “freh-juh”
[name]Freya[/name] is much more intuitive, [name]IMO[/name]. I am very fond of Js in names… [name]Sonja[/name] is my favorite spelling and I love [name]Freja[/name] but [name]Freya[/name] is lovely and SO much earier.
I don’t like [name]Freya[/name], I absolutely prefer [name]Freja[/name] (or Frøya) it’s the right spelling in Scandinavia. I think the old Norse Freyja is stunning as well.
I voted [name]Freya[/name] only because I’ve seen it spelled this way here in Australia. But I like the spelling [name]Freja[/name] & Freyja!

I think most people in the Uk would go for [name]Freja[/name] or Freyja because [name]Freya[/name] is very popular here so tge alternative spellings look more appealing. In a country where its less popular though, i’d go for [name]Freya[/name] for pronounciation reasons. Or possibly [name]Freia[/name].
[name]Freya[/name] is better for [name]North[/name] American countries. [name]Freja[/name] would be pronounced free-juh by most people.
My sister named her cat [name]Freya[/name]. It is a super cute name.
[name]Freya[/name] would be easier in english speaking countries. I understand the appeal of [name]Freja[/name] but it would be harder on the little girl, she would have to explain it and spell it out more often. Also as an english speaking person [name]Freya[/name] is just more appealing to the eye.
I met a little Freyja and I love it!
I always love the j spelling… fav is [name]Anja[/name]. I used to shy awa. from. it but now, I say go for it! 
Here in Denmark, we spell it [name]Freja[/name]. So obviously I think that’s the “right” spelling, but I definitely see why you would use [name]Freya[/name] instead of [name]Freja[/name] if it’s causing mispronunciations. I think Freyja is lovely and I think that might be a good alternative, but maybe that’s just me.
Interesting, I never even considered the Freyja spelling. I like it. I guess that I like all three spellings. I did prefer [name]Freja[/name] before, and I still wonder how many people might butcher the pronunciation. The name is very uncommon here in [name]Canada[/name], so probably quite a few will have difficulties with it, especially the francophones. Well thanks everyone for the advice. I am still not sure which spelling I would use if we were to use this name.
I prefer [name]Freya[/name]. It’s the same as with other -ya names([name]Anya[/name], [name]Natalia[/name] etc) - “j” in the middle irritates my eye.
I prefer [name]Freja[/name]. I do think [name]Freya[/name] would be easier to live with in a non-Scandinavian environment, though.
