My friend just had her first baby and [name_m]Just[/name_m] announced his name on Facebook.
His name is [name_m]Izayah[/name_m]. She hasn’t posted the middle yet. [name_m]Will[/name_m] let you guys know when she does.
Another friend just had her first a little while back. A little girl named [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_f]Ann[/name_f].
Congrats to your friends
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like the names? Two very different styles of names. Nameberry is so diverse.
I quite like [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]! My niece was just born over the weekend and her name is [name_u]Avery[/name_u], which was kind of unexpected. These two names have the same meaning, “leader of the elves”… I’m wondering where its origin came from. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you know? Maybe I’ll have to do a bit of research on it.
Depending on how close you are to the person, I feel that a Facebook name announcement is super impersonal. I’ve vowed never to do it after one of my friends did; she said it almost like a second thought: “I think I like [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]…” It took the surprise right out of it for me- and that’s half the fun!!
The [name_m]Izayah[/name_m] spelling is different; I’d be interested to know what name was paired with it… Keep us posted!
[name_m]Izayah[/name_m]? Oh no. That’s really bad.
I posted on here once when I came across an [name_m]Izayah[/name_m] in my local newspaper. Creative spelling at its worst.
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] isn’t too bad, but [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is a thousand times nicer. [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is a bit boring/trendy.
The names kind of fit with the mom’s styles. If you met them you would totally understand why they chose the names. The names aren’t my style, but I think [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is adorable, I really like the alliteration. Plus the baby is the cutest thing ever. I have a cousin named [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m], so when I saw [name_m]Izayah[/name_m] I was a bit disappointed because it’s such a great name and didn’t need to be unique. I still don’t know what his middle name is.
