I LOOVE the nickname [name]Annie[/name], but I have troubles finding a fuller name I like. [name]Annika[/name] [name]Claire[/name], nn [name]Annie[/name], was on my list, but I’m not sure I love [name]Annika[/name] as much as I love [name]Annie[/name]. [name]Do[/name] you have any ideas? I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Annabelle[/name], but [name]Isabelle[/name] is my favorite girls’ name, so I wouldn’t use both, and I like [name]Anneliese[/name], but can’t imagine using it. Any other ideas?
That’s funny!! I’m trying to do the same thing!! I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Annika[/name]… I’m pretty sure we’ve settled on [name]Annika[/name] [name]Jean[/name]. I was torn between [name]Annelise[/name] and [name]Annika[/name], and the more it sits with me, I’m loving [name]Annika[/name].
lol, thanks! I think my top two [name]Annie[/name] names right now are [name]Annika[/name] and [name]Anais[/name]. I like [name]Anais[/name] because I have a teeny-tiny bit of French in me, but I’ve loved [name]Annika[/name] longer, and I think it’s more accessible (and easily pronounced).
Then again, the majority (if not ALL) of my children will be adopted, so the culture of the name will not necessarily relate to the culture of my children… lol.
[name]Anneli[/name], is an uncommon choice that can use [name]Annie[/name] as a nickname. It is also Scandinavian like [name]Annika[/name], and Northern European like [name]Annaliese[/name]. I also love [name]Annika[/name] and [name]Annaliese[/name].
[name]Anna[/name]
[name]Johanna[/name]
[name]Joanna[/name]
[name]Annelise[/name] (I don’t think this is less accessible than [name]Annika[/name])
[name]Danica[/name]
Annabeth
[name]Annemarie[/name]
[name]Diane[/name]
[name]Julianne[/name]/[name]Julianna[/name]
oh thanks for posting this! ive been trying to think of full names for [name]Annie[/name] as well…ive been thinking about [name]Annabel[/name] & [name]Annemarie[/name]…which have already been suggested…i like [name]Anais[/name] for u…what about using a double name like [name]Anna[/name]-[name]Claire[/name] or [name]Anna[/name]-[name]Rose[/name]? not sure if it was mentioned already but theres [name]Anneliese[/name]…hmm ill get back to u if i think of more!
[name]How[/name] about Angharad? It’s a welsh name meaning beloved. I know 2 Angharad’s and 1 goes by [name]Annie[/name] as a nn and the other goes by [name]Hari[/name]. It’s pronounced An-ng(like the ng sound in angle, not angel)-har-add. I think it’s gorgeous.
Annecy - I know a girl named this, actually, who goes by [name]Annie[/name]!

I think I’m pretty set on [name]Annika[/name] or [name]Anais[/name]. [name]Do[/name] you think one goes better with the rest of my list ([name]Isabelle[/name], [name]Arianne[/name], [name]Olivia[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Rachel[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Liliana[/name], [name]Eve[/name], and [name]Hannah[/name])? Opinions?
I just had to say I love the suggestion of Annabeth for you. It seems so accessible, easy to pronounce, and known, but not popular. I also think it goes really well with the rest of your list -[name]Isabelle[/name], [name]Arianne[/name], [name]Olivia[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Rachel[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Liliana[/name], [name]Eve[/name], and [name]Hannah[/name]. ([name]Isabelle[/name] and Annabeth would make great sisters ) If I had to choose between [name]Annika[/name] and [name]Anais[/name], I think it would be [name]Annika[/name].
