TTC#2 in a few months and I am crushing hard on [name_m]Beau[/name_m] lately. I just know my husband won’t go for it though. Can you suggest any longer more formal names that could get me [name_m]Beau[/name_m] as a nickname?? Bonus points for easy to spell, easy to pronounce and not over the top.
If DD had been a boy she would have been [name_m]Beau[/name_m] and I looked high and low for longer names for which [name_m]Beau[/name_m]/[name_u]Bo[/name_u] could be a nickname for. I found some, but none I liked nearly as much as just [name_m]Beau[/name_m] so that’s what I stood by.
Maybe [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m], [name_m]Borris[/name_m], [name_m]Bosco[/name_m], [name_m]Bowen[/name_m]? They’re all short and (I would think) easy to pronounce.
I love [name_m]Beau[/name_m]! It’s one of my favorites. Beaumont is my favorite long form of [name_m]Beau[/name_m]. I also like [name_m]Boaz[/name_m] and [name_m]Bowen[/name_m].
Thanks all! I had never thought of [name_m]Bowen[/name_m] and I like [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m], [name_m]Boden[/name_m] and [name_m]Broderick[/name_m]. I’m not sure they have enough international ease to appeal to my husband and our bilingual household but I am going to try!
