I’m very quickly falling in love with the idea of [name_m]Beck[/name_m] for a little boy—I had been thinking of [name_m]Breccan[/name_m], but while I like him, I’m not connecting to him nearly as much as I thought I would, so I’m wondering if there’s something else out there I would connect with more than [name_m]Breccan[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] and [name_m]Beckham[/name_m] quite a bit, but they don’t really feel like me, and I liked that [name_m]Beck[/name_m] felt connected to [name_m]Breccan[/name_m] but not hugely obviously so. I’ve wondered about [name_m]Baxter[/name_m] nn [name_m]Beck[/name_m]? [name_m]Can[/name_m] you think of anything else that feels like a creative way to get to [name_m]Beck[/name_m]?
I’ve heard of [name_m]Becker[/name_m], [name_m]Baxter[/name_m] is a bit of a stretch to me
[name_m]Benedict[/name_m] might work
Also could pair with a FN+MN = [name_m]Beck[/name_m] thing, [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m], or [name_m]Ben[/name_m] [name_m]Luke[/name_m] maybe
[name_m]Baxter[/name] “Beck” is a little stretchy, but I can see it!
The only idea I can think of that has not been mentioned yet is Lindbeck, a Swedish surname derived from the words lind, meaning “linden tree”, and bäck, meaning—you guessed it—“stream”. I do not think it has been used as a first name before, but I quite like it nonetheless.
