Full name for Cleo?

love nn [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], but not a fan of [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f], any other ideas for fn for [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]? Also, would you use [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] for a boy?

[name_f]Cleone[/name_f]/Cleaona
[name_f]Cleora[/name_f]
[name_f]Cleola[/name_f]
[name_f]Cliona[/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] (more of a stretch but more usable)

I don’t think [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] needs a longer name, especially if you spell it [name_f]Clio[/name_f]. ([name_f]Cleo[/name_f] is derived from [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f], but [name_f]Clio[/name_f]-full name- is a Greek muse.)

My first thought is [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] or [name_f]Claire[/name_f] might also work, especially if the middle name began with an “o” or an “e.”

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Orianna[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Olympia[/name_f]
Claire Louise or Claire Eloise
Caroline Louise or Caroline Eloise

Or Colette! Maybe Colette Leonie or Colette Eloise.

Great suggestions above. One to add (though it’s pretty out there!) is the [name_m]French[/name_m] name Cléophée (CLEY-oh-[name_f]FEY[/name_f]).

I prefer [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] standing on its own, its such a cool and spunky name! I like pps suggestion of [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] as a full name, I follow a [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] on instagram whose full name is [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Alienor[/name_f], which I love. I think [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] could also work as a nn for any name that starts with a hard C + a [name_m]Leo[/name_m] name, as in [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Leona[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Leonor[/name_f]… it’s a bit of a stretch tho. I believe [name_u]Abby[/name_u] from the Name [name_u]Sage[/name_u] has a daughter called [name_f]Claire[/name_f] whose nn is [name_f]Clio[/name_f]!

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]? [name_f]Clio[/name_f] might make a little more sense, but either one works.

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] was my first though. I would absolutely not use [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] on a boy, ever.
