Full name for eli

I really like [name]Eli[/name], but don’t want to use it by itself. I like [name]Elias[/name] and my husband thinks its ok. He said NO to [name]Elijah[/name] and [name]Elliot[/name]. Are there any other names that can have [name]Eli[/name] as a nickname?

Maybe [name]Ellison[/name]?

I love [name]Elias[/name]! I’d go with that. But if he really hates it, I suppose [name]Elian[/name] is an option.

Other ways to potentially get “[name]Eli[/name]”:
[name]Eliseo[/name]
[name]Felix[/name]
[name]Cornelius[/name]
[name]Ellington[/name]

[name]Even[/name] more of a stretch, but perhaps doable:
[name]Emanuel[/name]
[name]Ishmael[/name]
[name]Uriel[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name]

My favorites (besides [name]Elliott[/name] and [name]Elias[/name]) are [name]Felix[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name]. Best I can do! Good luck!

This might be a bit of a stretch, but what about a name like Edward Lidon, or Easton Linus, where the first initial is E, and the first syllable of the middle name starts with “Li” or “[name]Ly[/name]”. I could see [name]Eli[/name] as a nickname in those cases.

Alternatively, [name]Eli[/name] strikes me as a name that can definitely stand alone.

I haven’t thought of any other names, but I agree with pp’s in that [name]Eli[/name] is totally a name worthy all on its own and [name]Elias[/name] is great if you still don’t like it on its own.

I always thought that [name]Eli[/name] is perfect as a name on its own. The only other one that works [name]IMO[/name] is [name]Elias[/name].

I love [name]Eli[/name] on its own and [name]Elias[/name] is great too but here are some other Biblical names that can be shortened to [name]Eli[/name]. Good luck!
[name]Eleazar[/name] / Eliezar
[name]Eliab[/name]
[name]Eliam[/name] - love this one!
[name]Elisha[/name] - actually a male name in the Bible
