So I think [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] is incredibly cute, and also has the ability to age gracefully. But know DH won’t like it as a given name (and would probably object to it even as a go-to nickname). So I’m wondering if there are any names that could have [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] as a nickname. (I know he won’t like [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] because he hates [name_f]Ailsa[/name_f], which I also love).
He likes [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f], and knowing me I could stretch it (I’ve been know to call a little one named [name_f]Lily[/name_f] any manner of things like [name_f]Lulu[/name_f], Leelu, [name_f]Lula[/name_f], Lilypad, Liliput, [name_u]Lee[/name_u] among other things so I could make [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] happen from [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]). Any other ideas (other than [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f])?
Might be able to stretch and rearrange sounds in these names
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
Elcina / [name_f]Alcina[/name_f]
[name_f]Elissa[/name_f]
[name_f]Estella[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_u]Chelsea[/name_u]
[name_f]Kelsea[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelais[/name_f]
[name_f]Delancie[/name_f]
[name_f]Gisela[/name_f]
[name_f]Marisela[/name_f]
[name_f]Selana[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosela[/name_f]
[name_f]Sabela[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]? I really like the suggestion of [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] too.
I think [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] could have the nickname [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], but if you want to make it make even more sense, what about using a middle name that starts with “sa”? So, how about…
