Full Name for Kip?

I adore the nickname [name_m]Kip[/name_m] for a boy, but am having trouble thinking of a longer form for which [name_m]Kip[/name_m] could be short. I do not like the idea of just naming my child [name_m]Kip[/name_m] - I would rather have a more substantial name, and call him [name_m]Kip[/name_m] for short. Any ideas?

[name_m]Christopher[/name_m]
[name_m]Crispin[/name_m]/[name_m]Krispin[/name_m]
[name_m]Casper[/name_m]/[name_m]Kasper[/name_m]
[name_m]Kipling[/name_m]
or
something with the initials K.P. could work too.

There is [name_m]Kipling[/name_m], and also [name_m]Crispin[/name_m], my favorite : ) On the more traditional side, [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] is a good option.

[name_m]Skipper[/name_m]
[name_m]Christopher[/name_m]
[name_m]Christian[/name_m]
[name_m]Crispin[/name_m]

[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]! If it weren’t so perfect in full, I’d use [name_m]Kip[/name_m]/Cip (or [name_m]Pip[/name_m]) as a nn.

I’ve heard of a baby named Kipton. Not crazy about that, but it could also be short for Kiplan…

[name_m]Christopher[/name_m], [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_m]Crispin[/name_m], [name_m]Kipling[/name_m], [name_m]Cyprian[/name_m], [name_m]Caspar[/name_m] / [name_m]Casper[/name_m], [name_u]Calypso[/name_u], [name_m]Chaplin[/name_m], [name_m]Cyprus[/name_m], [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] (?).

I agree with other posters on [name_m]Kipling[/name_m] - cool namesake.
