I adore [name_u]Kai[/name_u]. I would use it as a full name. [name_u]Kai[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] is a handsome name. I am not fond of [name_m]Kyson[/name_m], [name_m]Kylen[/name_m], and [name_m]Kaiser[/name_m].
Thank you but I like having both a full and nickname to call him by!
I know a little [name_m]Kaiden[/name_m]. But it might get mispronounced a lot as [name_u]Kay[/name_u]-den. There’s also [name_m]Kaius[/name_m] and [name_m]Malakai[/name_m] (or [name_m]Caius[/name_m]/[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]), but not sure if they fit your style. I dunno, I like [name_u]Kai[/name_u] on its own the best!
Thank you! I do like [name_m]Malakai[/name_m]!
I like [name_m]Malakai[/name_m] with the nickname [name_u]Kai[/name_u] the best!
I really like [name_u]Kai[/name_u] as a standalone first name. If [name_u]Kai[/name_u] has to be a nickname I would use [name_m]Malakai[/name_m] as the full name.
I agree with this.
[name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] or [name_m]Malakai[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
I like [name_m]Malakai[/name_m] the best. The other options feel a little contrived or trendy.
I would much prefer [name_m]Malakai[/name_m] or plain [name_u]Kai[/name_u] to any of the poll options
I also am not fond of any of the poll choices. The first two don’t seem like real names, and [name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] reminds me of [name_m]Caesar[/name_m]. I like the suggestion of [name_m]Malakai[/name_m] {prefer [name_m]Malachi[/name_m]} and would like to suggest [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] since it contains all the right letters and gives me the same vibes stylistically as [name_m]Kaiser[/name_m].
I think all of these names are too trendy. I agree with PPs who have said that just [name_u]Kai[/name_u] is a better option.
I like [name_u]Kai[/name_u] on it’s own or [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] ([name_m]Malakai[/name_m]). Kysen and [name_m]Kylen[/name_m] feel very trendy/made up and [name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] just makes me think of [name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] [name_m]Wilhelm[/name_m] and World War One.
I like [name_m]Kyler[/name_m] the best but it isn’t an option.
There are two book characters I know of with names [name_m]Ky[/name_m] and [name_u]Kai[/name_u]. Character [name_m]Ky[/name_m] is in the book series Matched, and that is his real name (not a nickname.) Character [name_u]Kai[/name_u] is in the book series The Lunar Chronicles. His real name is Kaito. Personally, I like the name [name_u]Kai[/name_u] better than the name [name_m]Ky[/name_m]. I also like it as a name and not a nickname. The names [name_m]Kyson[/name_m], [name_m]Kylen[/name_m] and [name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] are not my favorite, maybe because they don’t seem to fit with the vibe of [name_m]Ky[/name_m] and [name_u]Kai[/name_u]. The two nicknames are more exotic than the real names that you are thinking about.
Why not [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]?
I chose [name_m]Kylen[/name_m], although I think that [name_u]Kai[/name_u] is a name that can stand on it’s own and would suggest going with just that. I do not like the name [name_m]Kaiser[/name_m]. In [name_m]German[/name_m], it is not actually a name, and it means “Emperor”, so it would be like naming your child “[name_m]King[/name_m]” or “[name_m]Prince[/name_m]” - making it sound tacky and uncultured. Good luck with your name search
[name_u]Cairo[/name_u]? It means victorious
[name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] reminds me of WWI Germany, [name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] [name_m]Wilhelm[/name_m].
I like [name_m]Kylen[/name_m] best of your options. I’d also suggest [name_u]Kyran[/name_u].
If you’re into more unusual variants, I read a book with a character called [name_f]Ki[/name_f] whose full name was Kirotheus.
