[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone!
I never expected that I’d like this name, but lately I’ve been finding [name_u]Mandy[/name_u] such a sweet nickname. I love the down to earth, girl next door vibes of it. I don’t mind [name_f]Amanda[/name_f], but I’m looking for something a little more unexpected.
[name_f]My[/name_f] current top contenders are [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] “Mandy”, [name_f]Amandine[/name_f] “Mandy”, and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] “Mandy”.
What do you think of these? Also, any other suggestions?
[name_f]Amanda[/name_f] is growing on me, but I’d like to explore other options for this sweet nickname.
Omg I love Mandy!! I think she’s so sweet and def deserves a comeback
I love [name_f]Amandine[/name_f] “Mandy”, and [name_u]Mandy[/name_u] is such a sweet unexpected nn for Madeleine!! I also think she’s nice for [name_f]Miranda[/name_f], but the pair together feel a little more outdated than the other two.
This might be tooo strechy but I love [name_f]Jacaranda[/name_f] nn [name_u]Mandy[/name_u] but maybe the nn [name_u]Jackie[/name_u] would be more intuitive… also Alamandine is nice nn [name_u]Mandy[/name_u]
I think [name_f]Amandine[/name_f] “Mandy” is adorable and [name_f]Amandine[/name_f] is so charming- I love the contrast between her (more elegant) and [name_u]Mandy[/name_u] (more dated-cute)
I second:

This
And your idea of [name_f]Amanda[/name_f].
Would add (some may be a bit stretchy)
[name_f]Amandine[/name_f] nn [name_u]Mandy[/name_u] is adorable! [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] is my second favorite but [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] is a lovely option too. I just think the other two are more intuitive as full names for [name_u]Mandy[/name_u].
More ideas:
[name_f]Amandla[/name_f]
[name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]
[name_u]Madison[/name_u]
[name_f]Matilde[/name_f]
[name_f]Melisandre[/name_f]
[name_f]Margarida[/name_f]
Marilda
[name_f]Meadow[/name_f]
I think all of those are great and unexpected ways to get to [name_u]Mandy[/name_u]! Amarantha/Amaranth(e)/Amaranta was one of my first ideas - I know it doesn’t have a “D” but I think the “th” and “d” sounds are close enough that it would work. I’m having trouble thinking of anything else, but I do love the ideas of [name_f]Miranda[/name_f], [name_f]Amandine[/name_f], and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]!
