I’ve felt especially drawn to Moss this whole pregnancy but it doesn’t sound amazing with our last name and husband isn’t a huge fan. I’ve been wracking my brain to come up with full names that could have Moss as a nickname but haven’t really come up with much.
We both like Kit too but again, not good with our monosyllabic last name and we would not use Christopher as a full form.
You all are so creative, your help is appreciated!
[name_m]Moss[/name_m] [name_m]Hart[/name_m] was [name_u]Moses[/name_u] (Moshe). That’s the only name I’ve heard [name_m]Moss[/name_m] as a nickname for.
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] is often [name_u]Christian[/name_u] as well as [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]. It might work for [name_m]Crispin[/name_m] too.
[name_m]Morris[/name_m], nickname [name_m]Moss[/name_m], immediately comes to mind.
And for both [name_m]Moss[/name_m] and [name_u]Kit[/name_u], you could probably do a combination of first and middle name (e.g. [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] or [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] Ross) to get to those nicknames
For [name_m]Moss[/name_m], these all come to mind:
[name_u]Moses[/name_u]
[name_m]Morrissey[/name_m]
[name_m]Maximus[/name_m]
[name_m]Nicodemus[/name_m]
[name_u]Amos[/name_u]
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
For [name_u]Kit[/name_u], these come to mind:
[name_u]Killian[/name_u]
[name_m]Kipper[/name_m]
[name_m]Kevin[/name_m]
[name_m]Keith[/name_m]
Kitteridge
[name_m]Kellen[/name_m]
[name_m]Kermit[/name_m]
[name_u]Cricket[/name_u]
[name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
[name_f]My[/name_f] son is named [name_m]Morris[/name_m] and we use [name_m]Moss[/name_m] as a nickname. [name_m]Moss[/name_m] is the British Isles nickname for Morris/Maurice.
Does [name_u]Amos[/name_u] nn [name_m]Moss[/name_m] work? [name_m]Magnus[/name_m]? I kind of like [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] more. [name_m]Massimo[/name_m]?
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] is a little easier. [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] is my favorite. Also, maybe [name_m]Crispin[/name_m] or [name_u]Beckett[/name_u]? I love [name_u]Cricket[/name_u] nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u] for a girl, but [name_u]Cricket[/name_u] could work for a boy too if you’d like.
