Quick question fellow berries- any suggestions for girls names that could have Moth as a nickname? It’s for an honour and I’m struggling to come up with anything.
So far I’ve thought of [name_f]Martha[/name_f] which pretty much fits the criteria, but I’m still searching. Mathilde/Mathilda is one I’ve also considered but I’m not in love.
I don’t mind it being stretchy but would prefer to have at least the M and TH sounds or letters in the name.
Thank you all!
How about…
[name_f]Timothea[/name_f]
[name_f]Meredith[/name_f]
[name_f]Mathea[/name_f]
[name_f]Amalthea[/name_f]
Asmoth

I keep thinking of this video I saw recently of this little [name_f]British[/name_f] boy who named his pet moth “Moth-ew” and was so tickled with himself . It was so cute! But because of that, maybe any [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] feminine variant? [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] was my first idea, maybe [name_f]Martina[/name_f] or something like [name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] “Moth” or [name_f]Maura[/name_f] [name_f]Theodosia[/name_f] “Moth”?

I do love the place name Tamworth but it’s also a breed of (very cute) pig named after the town!! Tamworth pig - Wikipedia
When I hear moth i always hear Timothy…so [name_f]Timothea[/name_f] makes the most sense
It’s quite hard to get a name that yields these sounds together - [name_f]Timothea[/name_f] as already mentioned is the most intuitive option I think. [name_f]Love[/name_f] the nn Moth though! I’d be inclined to go for an oblique reference eg [name_f]Bella[/name_f] or [name_f]Luna[/name_f] (moth varieties), though it’s defs not intuitive as both are popular names - would need introduced as Moth for it to stick.
