Full name for nickname Goldie?

[name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I love the name [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] but we’re not sure if we love it as a nickname or as a full name as it is. What are some options for full names that we could use [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] as a nickname? Thanks!

[name_f]Marigold[/name_f]?

Maybe [name_f]Golda[/name_f]? I like [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] too!

[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is my favorite for the nn [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] but I’ve also heard people use [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] (Aurelia means golden)

[name_f]Cressida[/name_f] and [name_f]Orla[/name_f] have gold meanings

Hmmm I think [name_m]Goldwyn[/name_m] and [name_f]Maragold[/name_f] are kinda cool. [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is beautiful too.

[name_f]Eldora[/name_f] means ‘covered in gold’
[name_f]Orabela[/name_f] means ‘golden-beautiful)
And my personal favorite…
[name_f]Ophira[/name_f], which just means ‘gold’

[name_f]Rosegold[/name_f] came to mind. Also, [name_u]Auriol[/name_u], [name_f]Flavia[/name_f], [name_u]Oriole[/name_u], [name_u]Paz[/name_u], [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], and [name_f]Zaria[/name_f], which all mean gold.

I know someone named [name_f]Goldia[/name_f], which made me think of the name Goldianna, I love that and [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] as a nn.

I would probably use it as a nickname myself, but I do think it could work as a standalone. [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] obviously works well as a full name for it, but I also see [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] working fine as a pet name for a child with blonde hair or even just a bright, sunny personality. :woman_shrugging:t3:

I was going to suggest [name_f]Cressida[/name_f], [name_f]Orla[/name_f] and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] too. Not as obvious as [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], but still make sense based on the meaning!

I really like [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] & [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] for [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] as a nickname!

Honestly though you could definitely use [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] as a name in its own right

[name_m]Gold[/name_m] or marigold?
Also you could with go with something more indirect [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurelie[/name_f] mean “the golden one". If you use the name generator and put the meaning as golden a lot if name options will come up that could work as a full name to [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

Marigold is the only one I can really think of

[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]
Goldeneye
Goldenrod
[name_u]Golden[/name_u]
Goldenberg
Goldendale
Goldsmith
Goldielocks

I’m on the side that [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] is a name in its own right.
Full name suggestions:
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f]
Goldwin/Goldwine/Goldwyn
[name_f]Gilda[/name_f]- means [name_m]Gold[/name_m]
[name_f]Golda[/name_f]- Same meaning, Gilda’s cousin
Golden/Goldene
[name_f]Orelia[/name_f]- means gold…and just use [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] as a nickname.

Oh heck yeah, Goldeneye!
