My son and his wife are expecting a baby in [name_u]December[/name_u]. They are waiting until delivery to find out the baby’s gender. Their first child is named [name_f]Ayanna[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. They have a couple of girl names already picked out for the new baby and they are waiting to see which name from that list suits the new baby when it arrives. They have asked for help finding a boy name. The dad is a musician and likes the nickname [name_m]Jam[/name_m]. We are looking for ideas for names that could get to the nickname [name_m]Jam[/name_m]. They prefer names that are not too popular. Last name is two syllables and starts with “S” so prefer names that don’t end in “s”. Thank you for name suggestions!
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] was my first thought, but that’s probably too popular for them. What about [name_m]Jotham[/name_m]? It’s a bit of a stretch - it’s pronounced [name_m]JOE[/name_m]-thum - but the letters are there.
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] were my first thoughts. Maybe [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]? [name_f]Ayanna[/name_f] and [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] are very nice together, and [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] easily lends itself to [name_m]Jam[/name_m]. I can’t really think of anything else, unfortunately.
Good luck!
[name_u]Jameson[/name_u]
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]
[name_m]Jamin[/name_m] ([name_u]Jay[/name_u]-min, I have a friend called this, actually)
You could also use a J/Ja- name and an Am/M- middle name?
I like [name_m]Jam[/name_m] for a middle name.
[name_m]Jamal[/name_m]
[name_m]Jamar[/name_m]
[name_u]Jamison[/name_u]/ [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]
[name_u]Jamie[/name_u]
[name_m]Jaheim[/name_m]
[name_m]Jamin[/name_m], [name_m]Jeremy[/name_m] or [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m] could work.
I was thinking the same thing as lawsonhaley - using initials to get to the nickname such as…
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] “[name_m]Jam[/name_m]”
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]McGregor[/name_m] “[name_m]Jam[/name_m]”

James,Jotham & Jaime may work
