Full Name for nickname Liv?

I love the nickname [name]Liv[/name], but I’d like to avoid the popular [name]Olivia[/name], and even too-similar-in-sound [name]Livia[/name], despite its beauty. I’m thinking about [name]Olive[/name], but I’m wondering if there are other “[name]Liv[/name]” options out there. Help please?

What about [name]Lavinia[/name]?

I am in a similar situation! I like:

[name]Livana[/name] (Hebrew for moon)

Some non-[name]Olivia[/name]-but-related-to-Olives options

[name]Oliva[/name] (seems destined for confusion…but pretty)
[name]Olive[/name] (I don’t really like it, but plenty of people do)
[name]Olivet[/name] (a very religious name)
[name]Olivetta[/name]
[name]Olivette[/name]

Good luck!

what do you think of Livianna?

I like [name]Livana[/name], but Livianna is too frilly for me! Why is [name]Olivet[/name] a religious name?

[name]Olivet[/name] to me evokes the Mount of Olives - for some reason in churches I visited it tended to get referred to as Mount [name]Olivet[/name] (probably to go along with using the phrase “[name]Olivet[/name] discourse”?. I realize that may not be widely known, the more I think of it.)

[name]Glad[/name] you like [name]Livana[/name]!

[name]Olivet[/name] is pretty cool! I didn’t originally connect it to the Mount of Olives even though I’ve been in the [name]Christian[/name] church my whole life. I have occasionally seen it referred to as Mount [name]Olivet[/name], though, so I can see where @jesba got it from. I don’t think it’s that strong of an association, though, as I rarely hear it referred to as that.

I think [name]Olive[/name] is a great option for you, though–it seems to suit everything you’ve been looking for.

I love @jesba’s [name]Livana[/name] as well. Besides the ones suggested already all I can think of is Livienne, which a member on here came up with because she loved [name]Liv[/name] but not [name]Olivia[/name]. I think she said it was sort of a mix between [name]Vivienne[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name]. That, or why not just [name]Liv[/name]? I believe it’s a Scandinavian variation of [name]Elizabeth[/name]…

Good luck!

The russian form of [name]Elizabeth[/name] is Lizaveta you could take the Li and the V… its puching it a bit but…

Or initails like [name]Lauren[/name] [name]Ilissa[/name] [name]Violet[/name]… [name]LIV[/name] ???

There is a college I think near Chicago named [name]Olivet[/name]. [name]Just[/name] so you know.

[name]Olive[/name] is very pretty!

[name]Lyvia[/name] is a legitimate name {as far as I’m aware} that is pronounced more like [name]LEE[/name]-vee-yuh. That’s really pretty! Or maybe Liviana?

Thanks everyone for your suggestions, but I’ve decided to stick with the other names on my list that have been there longer. I’ll name my next cat [name]Liv[/name] or something like that!
