I love [name_f]Lola[/name_f], but I feel that it won’t age well if I was ever to use it. I don’t like [name_f]Dolores[/name_f] or [name_f]Lolita[/name_f]. [name_f]Dolores[/name_f] feels way too old fashioned (even though my style is kinda old) [name_f]Lolita[/name_f] isn’t my style because of the novel, and the sex-kitten references.
I can’t think of any full name that I could use [name_f]Lola[/name_f] as a nickname for. I would prefer names that aren’t too much of a stretch
(ie. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] or [name_f]Laurel[/name_f])
Any suggestion welcome!
What about [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]? It doesn’t seem intuitive, I know, but I know of a few [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]'s who have gone by [name_f]Lola[/name_f] now, both in books/films/tv shows/etc and in person.
It’s definitely a stretch, but my favourite full name for [name_f]Lola[/name_f] is actually [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. Babies often have trouble with the Rs, so… [name_f]Lola[/name_f] seems somewhat intuitive that way.
Other than that I love [name_f]Viola[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
