[name_u]Ever[/name_u] since we got together my hubby has been obsessed with having a son called [name_u]Reggie[/name_u] - now that that time has come, it has grown on me but not enough for me to be in love with it.
I’m trying to come up with a first name that we can agree on where we could use [name_u]Reggie[/name_u] as a nickname, but not keen on super formal names like [name_m]Reginald[/name_m] or [name_m]Regis[/name_m].
His middle name will be [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] (family name).
Any suggestions would be welcomed! It doesn’t have to start with R, even loosely related to [name_u]Reggie[/name_u] is enough for me!
I really the previous suggestions of [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] and [name_f]Raegan[/name_f]. I think they are good names and work with the NN you want. Especially, [name_m]Gregory[/name_m], as he can change the NN to [name_m]Greg[/name_m] when he’s an adult if he feels [name_u]Reggie[/name_u] is to childish.
I had thought of [name_u]Reagan[/name_u] but unfortunately hubby vetoed it :-(. [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] is the name of a cousin so cuts that one out too unfortunately!
[name_u]Rex[/name_u] I love as it was my husband’s grandfathers name, however [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is the surname from that side of the family and we were choosing to honour them that way, so perhaps [name_u]Rex[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] would be overkill, but I’ll float the idea anyway!
