I am in love with the nickname [name_f]Ro[/name_f] for a boy. I don’t know if we’ll use it because we do have a son who sometimes goes by [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and while it’s not close, the -o ending is unique enough that they could be mixed up.
I like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_u]Rohan[/name_u], but they both feel plain compared to my kids’ names. They are Senia, [name_f]Apolline[/name_f], Theoden and Hesperia.
[name_m]Romulus[/name_m] is one that I go back and forth on constantly and I do also love [name_u]Robin[/name_u] but like with [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], I feel it pales in comparison to the names we’ve already chosen.
I know a little boy named [name_m]Rowe[/name_m] and he was named after a mountain in Waterton National [name_m]Park[/name_m] in [name_f]Alberta[/name_f], [name_f]Canada[/name_f], where his parents loved to hike so it is a nature name. There is also a lake in the area with the same name. I think it would be a nice choice as it would be a full name rather than a nickname.
Might be a stretch but Orlando ‘[name_f]Ro[/name_f]’ from your sig maybe?
[name_u]Rohan[/name_u] feels like it could work with your other kids names, as does [name_m]Romulus[/name_m]
Some other ideas:
[name_m]Roderick[/name_m]
[name_m]Romeo[/name_m]
[name_u]Rosario[/name_u]
[name_m]Leandro[/name_m]
[name_m]Prospero[/name_m]
[name_u]Roscoe[/name_u]
I think [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_u]Rohan[/name_u] go well with your other kids names. I like all of the names that you mentioned with the exception of [name_u]Robin[/name_u].
[name_m]Roland[/name_m] (a very old name) is a possibility. I first heard of [name_m]Roland[/name_m] as a knight in a novel set in the time of Charlemagne. At the time I thought it was a [name_m]French[/name_m] version of [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and his knights. It is certainly unusual. I think some nn are Roly, [name_m]Rowley[/name_m], [name_m]Roley[/name_m]. However, you could pick your name.
