My husband and I love the nickname [name]Roxy[/name] but we would never use it as a full name. We don’t like [name]Roxanne[/name] or [name]Roxanna[/name] though, and we aren’t sure of any other names that could use [name]Roxy[/name] as a nickname. [name]One[/name] name we came up with that we love is [name]Roslyn[/name]. Could [name]Roslyn[/name] work? Any other suggestions are welcome and appreciated!
[name]Roslyn[/name] may work, but it’s definitely not an intuitive nickname for me. I have no real other ideas though, [name]Love[/name] [name]Roxie[/name] though!!
I think any of the [name]Ros[/name]- names would work. If you call her [name]Roxy[/name] and she introduces herself as such, people will know what to call her. If she decides she wants to go by [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Rosalyn[/name] later in life, she could.
Agreed. [name]Roxy[/name] might not be the first nn people come to, but if your daughter introduces herself as a [name]Roxy[/name], then that’s what she’ll be. A [name]Ros[/name]- name would work just fine!
[name]Raquel[/name] is a great suggestion!
What about an R fn with mn Oxanna / [name]Oksanna[/name] or [name]Axelle[/name]?
[name]Rosemary[/name] [name]Axelle[/name]
[name]Rose[/name] Oxanna
[name]Ramona[/name] [name]Axelle[/name]
[name]Raina[/name] [name]Axelle[/name]
[name]Reagan[/name] Oxanna
I like the above suggestion of [name]Raquelle[/name]. I think [name]Roslyn[/name] could work, or [name]Rosemary[/name], [name]Rosalind[/name], or plain old [name]Rose[/name].
[name]Do[/name] you have a mn chosen? I’m even thinking a R- first name and an X middle name ([name]Beatrix[/name], [name]Alexandra[/name]…) could be contracted to [name]Roxy[/name]. Off hand, I like [name]Roslyn[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name].
[name]Roslyn[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name] or [name]Rose[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name] are very pretty. (I sort of like all the [name]Ros[/name]- names.) I have met a Roxandra, which is an Eastern European version of [name]Roxanne[/name]/[name]Roxanna[/name].
I like [name]Rosalyn[/name] for [name]Roxy[/name]. Beautiful and I think it works for the nn while still giving her the option for a full, more substantial name. as she gets older . Have you considered [name]Roxana[/name] as a middle? That could work too.
We have a Spanish teacher at our school named Roxanette.
[name]Raquel[/name] is not spelled [name]Raquelle[/name]; that’s the French [name]Rachelle[/name].
I like the idea of getting [name]Roxie[/name] out of [name]Ro[/name]/[name]Beatrix[/name].
