I like the idea of a [name]Fred[/name]- name, but I don’t like [name]Frederick[/name] or [name]Alfred[/name]. Any other names that suit my classic style of names?
Thank you!

I’m assuming you’re looking for boy names, but I just thought I’d throw out there that I’ve seen the name [name]Winifred[/name] nn [name]Fred[/name].
hmmm that’s a hard one, how about…
[name]Manfred[/name]
[name]Wilfred[/name]
[name]Gottfried[/name]/[name]Godfried[/name]/Godtfred/[name]Goffredo[/name] (all the same name, spelling variants based on language I can’t decide which one is best)
Gilfred – one who has taken an oath of peace
Linfred – gentle peace
[name]Manfred[/name] – man of peace
Renfred – lasting peace
Ulfred – peaceful wolf
Walfred – to rule
[name]Wilfred[/name] – desiring peace
[name]Winfred[/name] – friend
Why don’t you do a Super Search on this site with names containing “fred”?
Thank you for the idea @basicsand, I have been doing that:) While doing that, I have discovered my love for [name]Franklin[/name] nn [name]Frank[/name]!
I totally love the nickname [name]Frank[/name]. My feeling is that it’ll be the new [name]Jack[/name]/[name]Harry[/name]/[name]Nathan[/name] and I prefer [name]Franklin[/name] over [name]Francis[/name].
[name]Frederick[/name] is my favorite for nickname [name]Freddie[/name]. Also like [name]Manfred[/name].
