What names go with [name]Max[/name], other than the typical? I would love to have the nickname [name]Max[/name] for my son, but don’t want the typical [name]Maximus[/name], [name]Maximillian[/name], Maxton, or [name]Maxwell[/name]. Are there any other ideas to get the nickname [name]Max[/name]?

hmmm the only names I can think of are [name]Maddox[/name] & [name]Maxen[/name]/Macsen
I have also heard [name]Maxim[/name], Slavic I think, and [name]Massimo[/name], Italian I think. [name]Maximilien[/name] is French, but so close to [name]Maximilian[/name] I’m not sure what it adds. There are also surnames in the tradition of Maxton, like Maxford, [name]Maxfield[/name], probably others but those are the two that come to mind. Hmm. There is also the name [name]Cormac[/name].
What else…well, if you get really flexible and consider it truly a nickname, I think most M names can work, especially those with a k or s sound and maybe something with x or maybe even a + x in the middle. Understand if this is a step too far, but I know it works for some people. Hmm. Not saying these names are all as useable as each other, but:

The only [name]Max[/name]- name I can think of that hasn’t been mentioned yet is one of my favorites: [name]Maxfield[/name]. Like [name]Maxfield[/name] [name]Parrish[/name], the artist.
Also, a vote for [name]Maxim[/name] (max-eem), yep, Russian/Slavic and [name]Maximilian[/name]/[name]Maximilien[/name]. I love those!
