[name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] is my favorite “[name_f]Fay[/name_f]” name. I prefer the spelling [name_f]Fay[/name_f], very simple and no nonsense but I do think the spelling [name_f]Fae[/name_f] would be better for the nn of [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f].

[name_f]Freya[/name_f] nn [name_f]Fae[/name_f], I prefer [name_f]Fae[/name_f].

[name_f]Freya[/name_f], of course. Anything starts with F and has an ae/ay/ey sound somewhere in the name works too, imo.

My favourite is [name_f]Fae[/name_f], as it makes me think of fairies. Beautiful and whimsical.

[name_f]Freya[/name_f] is a good suggestion!

[name_f]Felicia[/name_f] maybe? It’s probably a stretch though.

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] or [name_f]Fay[/name_f] are my favourites

I absolutely love [name_f]Fae[/name_f]/[name_f]Fey[/name_f] and she’s one of the first and only names I looked for full names for. Over many years I’ve only come up with:

[name_f]Phaedra[/name_f]
[name_f]Theophania[/name_f] (thee-oh-[name_f]FAY[/name_f]-nee-uh)
Orphéa (Or-[name_f]FAY[/name_f]-uh)
Freyja/[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
Maybe -ph/-f names could work too, like [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_f]Persephone[/name_f], Elaphia, [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] etc.
And I’ve considered using [name_f]Fae[/name_f] as a middle and using her as a nn from that.

[name_f]Fae[/name_f] is my favourite spelling (followed by [name_f]Fey[/name_f]) since I love the look of ae and also the link to faeries. To me it evokes a more beautiful, magical, but dark and mysterious imagery, which I really like. It’s not just a short and sweet name, but it has substance, history, and intrigue as well. I love her as a full name, but also as a nn.

[name_f]Faustina[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f]

Like others [name_f]Fae[/name_f] is my favourite spelling because it makes me think of Fairies.
I [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_f]Faith[/name_f] nn [name_f]Fae[/name_f]
[name_m]How[/name_m] about:
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]/[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]

[name_f]Ophelie[/name_f]
[name_u]Fable[/name_u]
[name_u]Fayette[/name_u] / [name_m]Lafayette[/name_m]
[name_f]Fainne[/name_f]
[name_u]Faine[/name_u]
Faraday
[name_f]Frayda[/name_f]/ [name_f]Freida[/name_f]/[name_f]Freyda[/name_f]/[name_f]Fraydel[/name_f]/[name_f]Freda[/name_f]

More of a stretch (but still OK, I think):

[name_f]Fenella[/name_f]
[name_f]Ferelith[/name_f]
[name_f]Fenna[/name_f]
Femke /[name_f]Famke[/name_f]
[name_f]Faline[/name_f]
[name_f]Euphemie[/name_f]/ [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f]
[name_f]Nephele[/name_f]
[name_f]Stephania[/name_f]

Names meaning fairy, or strongly associated with fairies, might work too:

[name_u]Morgan[/name_u]/[name_f]Morgana[/name_f] (le [name_u]Fay[/name_u])
[name_f]Titania[/name_f]
Gloriana
[name_m]Pari [/name_m]
[name_f]Parisa[/name_f]

I know a Fayetta. I like the suggestion of [name_f]Freya[/name_f]. This is also my mothers middle name spelled [name_f]Fay[/name_f].

I like the [name_f]Fae[/name_f] and [name_f]Faye[/name_f] spellings best!

Other suggestions:
[name_f]Feyline[/name_f] / [name_f]Faline[/name_f] / [name_f]Faeleen[/name_f]
[name_f]Feya[/name_f]
[name_f]Orphea[/name_f] (Or [name_f]Orfeya[/name_f])
[name_f]Fantasia[/name_f]
[name_f]Fayna[/name_f]
[name_f]Fayre[/name_f]
[name_f]Fayza[/name_f]

I don’t think these have been suggested before, but I apologize if any are repeats.

[name_f]Freja[/name_f] is my favourite long form for [name_f]Fay[/name_f]! I also like the suggestion of Orphéa.

A couple more ideas:

Féthnaid is an Irish name pronounced [name_f]FAY[/name_f]-nuhd which has a number of evocative possible meanings.

[name_u]Felice[/name_u], traditionally pronounced [name_f]FAY[/name_f]-liss, is the mostly-forgotten English form of [name_f]Felicia[/name_f]. Félicie is the [name_m]French[/name_m] form.

[name_f]Feodora[/name_f], the Slavic form of [name_f]Theodora[/name_f].

[name_f]Fabia[/name_f] would be a viable long form for [name_f]Fay[/name_f] if you pronounce it the anglicised way, [name_f]FAY[/name_f]-bee-uh.

Phaenna was one of the Graces in Greek mythology, and as such has a much more positive backstory than that of [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f].

I would go with the spelling that connects the nn to its long form the most, whether that’s [name_f]Fey[/name_f], [name_f]Fae[/name_f] or even Phae.

I would also add [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] nn [name_f]Fae[/name_f].

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] on her own
