My great-great grandmother’s name was Saima. It is a family name (Finnish) and I would not hesitate in naming my child Saima normally, but it also happens to be the first name of one of my great aunts with whom I have terrible and traumatizing memories of.
So now I’m trying to find a first name that could work with the nickname [name_f]Sai[/name_f]. It’s pronounced like the words eye or lie.
