I really like the idea of [name_m]Teddy[/name_m] on a girl, but I don’t think I’d use it as a full name. I don’t like [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] unfortunately. I tend to prefer less “grand” names, and not many names that end in an A. For example I like [name_f]Georgeann[/name_f] nn [name_f]Georgie[/name_f] much more than [name_f]Georgianna[/name_f] nn [name_f]Georgie[/name_f].
I don’t mind a long name, I just tend to like more “clunky” names as opposed to overly feminine names.
If you don’t mind stretchy nicknames, maybe you could use a name referencing bears through its meaning? I’m thinking [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f] or [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] nn [name_m]Teddy[/name_m].
[name_f]Adrastea[/name_f]
[name_f]Benedicta[/name_f]
[name_f]Claudette[/name_f]
[name_f]Danette[/name_f]
[name_f]Demeter[/name_f] or [name_f]Demetria[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] or [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f]
I think you could use [name_m]Teddy[/name_m] as a nickname for ‘just’ [name_f]Thea[/name_f]! It doesn’t have the letter D in it, but I think the connection is obvious.
Otherwise maybe [name_f]Tadeta[/name_f], [name_f]Thadine[/name_f], [name_f]Tedda[/name_f], or even [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]?
I think you could use [name_f]Thea[/name_f] and call her [name_m]Teddy[/name_m], since both are derivatives of the same name.
Another idea would be to give her a first name that starts with T and a middle name that starts with D. That way her initials are T. D., which kind of sounds like “Teddy” which could be where you get the nickname.
With that, here are some T. D. combos for you:
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_m]Dakota[/name_m]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] [name_f]Demi[/name_f]
[name_m]Tatum[/name_m] [name_f]Diana[/name_f]
[name_m]Taylor[/name_m] [name_f]Delaney[/name_f]
[name_f]Teagan[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f]
[name_m]Tate[/name_m] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Tenley[/name_f] [name_f]Delta[/name_f]
[name_f]Theodosia[/name_f]? That’s more flowery than [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] though lol. I agree [name_f]Theda[/name_f] could work. [name_m]Or[/name_m] maybe something like T______ Ed_____ “Teddy”? Like [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f] or [name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_f]Eden[/name_f] or [name_f]Tori[/name_f] [name_f]Edwina[/name_f]?
[name_f]Theresa[/name_f] [name_f]Danielle[/name_f] nn [name_m]Teddy[/name_m]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Delaney[/name_f] nn [name_m]Teddy[/name_m]
Theresa/Therese [name_f]Delaney[/name_f] nn [name_m]Teddy[/name_m]
