Hey Bounce!
As a fellow teenager (you said in your other posts you were a teen, right?) I’m also always searching for fun, exotic, and unique names. The main reason for me is that I feel like my current favorites such as [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Emmeline[/name] will be super popular by the time I have a child, so I’m constantly looking for names that won’t sound too out of place in 10-15 years or so, but still won’t be extra popular.
I love [name]Isla[/name] too, its one of my favorites. Strangely, up until a few months ago, I had always thought it was pronounced IS-luh. But EYE-luh is so much prettier, so now I love it even more. However, it is getting popular, as you said. [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Georgia[/name] are my favorites too! I love [name]Georgina[/name] more than [name]Georgia[/name] though, since I know a really snobby girl at school named [name]Georgia[/name].
I haven’t ever heard of [name]Sosie[/name], is it a nickname for something? I personally don’t really love names that sound like nicknames, but I can see [name]Sosie[/name] working as a nickname for [name]Susannah[/name]. I also love [name]Sukie[/name] for [name]Susannah[/name], WDYT of [name]Sukie[/name]?
I also [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Tallulah[/name], and I don’t think it’s too much at all. I love the nickname [name]Lula[/name] or [name]Tallie[/name], and I think it’s a great name.
I suggest Greek names if you want something fun, exotic and unique. They also won’t be too popular in the future.
[name]Cassia[/name] (or the Slavic [name]Kasia[/name], which is pronounced a bit differently and has a totally different meaning.)
[name]Cassiopeia[/name]
[name]Andromeda[/name]
[name]Pandora[/name]
[name]Thessaly[/name]
[name]Galatea[/name]
[name]Ione[/name]
[name]Thisbe[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name]
[name]Calliope[/name]
Appollina[/quote]
Hey [name]Tara[/name]! Ya, I’m almost a teenager! I’ll be 13 in a couple months, but I’m a mature preteen!
It is very funny because I also love [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Emmeline[/name]! [name]Even[/name] though [name]Emmeline[/name] or [name]Emmaline[/name] or [name]Emeline[/name] has not yet reached the top 1000, I feel it is really getting more popular. And [name]Charlotte[/name], well that’s a whole 'nother story! It is getting more popular by the minute, and I can definitely see it reaching the top 10 in not too long!
Yes, when I first saw [name]Isla[/name] I didn’t know how to pronounce it, but then I began to love it. The only problem I have is that [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Isla[/name] sort of sound like they sould rhyme when you say them together. Like it should be [name]Violet[/name] and Islet… you know? But I still completely love it and am torn between [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Isla[/name], but they are both getting sooo popular! I prefer names not in the top 200, though I know I like some names that are.
I’m glad you like [name]Talullah[/name]! I didn’t know if it was too much, but I guess not!
Oh, and about [name]Sukie[/name]… I’m not really a fan, sorry!
Yes Greek names are nice and very intriguiging! My name, [name]Chloe[/name] is Greek and means verdant and blooming.
From your list I like…
[name]Pandora[/name]
Tessaly
[name]Phoebe[/name]
Appollina but I prefer it spelled Appolina
I think I would give them really cute nicknames like…
[name]Pandora[/name] - Pandy
Tessaly - [name]Tess[/name] or [name]Tessa[/name] or [name]Lee[/name] [name]Lee[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] - [name]Bee[/name]! or Phoe! ([name]Fee[/name])
Appolina - She would be [name]Apple[/name] for sure!
In fact I love all of these! I think my favourite is Appolina! Thanks!
