Fun name for main character in a children's book

Hello I have never posted in here before,

I have writen a children’s book,

About a strong fun little girl who loves to cook and eat.

I need a modern name for her. I have always loved the name/book [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] Chutney and just found the name on the internet of [name_f]Strawberry[/name_f] freckleface as I was already thinking strawberry but found this book already published.

So something like those, I am open to suggestions,

I am considering [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Honey[/name_f], as I figured that’s not a obvious reference to food and may be useful if in subsequent books she is not cooking but doing other challenges…

[name_f]Honey[/name_f] is straight off my baby name list as is [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Holley[/name_f] (sound crush much?)

So what do you think, more suggestions please and is it a good idea to use baby names I love? Not planning on having another for a few years but loved these if my first was a girl.

Please help

Thank you name berries!

As a character who likes to cook and eat I think that is a great name! I saw your post on the girls name forum and thought it was for a real child and I wanted to say “that name just makes me hungry” but bit my tongue because you were asking what kind of girl you could see with the name, and not our opinions on it. Now that I know it is for a character, I love it!

Yes she is not real (except in my head at the moment) I love the name honey as a sweet middle name in real life…but would never pair it with a fruit in real life.

I agree that honey would make an adorable middle name.
