My friend and I were browsing The [name]Daily[/name] Puppy (http://www.dailypuppy.com/) and came across some funny dog names. Some are just humorous, and some were made funny because of the dog’s breed. Here ya go:
Edgrrr - The sweetest little lab or golden.
Bon Bon - I think this was a mastiff or something.
[name]Tiny[/name] Booties - Again, a mastiff or boxer or something “tough.”
Chalupa - A chihuahua, I believe.

[name]Hyacinth[/name] and [name]Heloise[/name] “[name]Hy[/name] and Hello” - [name]How[/name] witty.
Basically, Edgrrr was my favorite. [name]Edgar[/name] is a pretty sweet dog name, anyway, but with the added “grr,” it’s just fab.
My Dad was never much for naming animals so he generally put as little thought as possible into naming them. One of his dogs was named Dog. Then when he left home, his parents renamed it [name]Red[/name] Dog. Not much better. He also had a bird named [name]Bird[/name]. Yeaaah… I think the most memorable pet from his childhood was Stinky, the alligator. But that may be the pet itself, not the name. :?
My Newfoundland/Border [name]Collie[/name] mix was named Stormin’ [name]Norman[/name] and it was an appropriate name. He had the Border [name]Collie[/name] energy with the Newfoundland sense of humour.
Oh my gosh, [name]Hy[/name] and Hello is awesome, lol.
My aunt had a [name]German[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name] named [name]Deacon[/name], which isn’t all that awesome til you find out his registered AKC name was “[name]Silly[/name] Goose U [name]Haven[/name]'t Got A Prayer”. It was funny when I was ten, and I still find it very clever 18 years later, lol.
