I don’t remember having very many strange cravings. And mine didnt start until I was further along, like in my 2nd trimester. I remember craving Chocolate and Chocolate milk. Also, during the last month, I craved ice! I was always wanting to crunch on ice, it was really strange! But, I was also low on Iron a lot, so was told that was probably why.
With my first it was plums and carrots. That one was a girl. Now, I’m craving barbecue - ribs, barbecue chicken, etc. and bell peppers. He’s a boy
I’m 32 weeks pregnant with a little girl and I’m seriously craving fruit. Like freshly cut, ice cold strawberries, watermelon, pineapple, Granny [name]Smith[/name] apples, green grapes, cantaloupe…etc. I’m also SERIOUSLY craving candy. Sour Patch Kids, Gummy worms, Twizzlers, Warheads, and Jolly Ranchers. I’ve had to create a secret candy stash in our apartment. I don’t want anyone else getting to my sweets! With [name]Evie[/name] I craved Salt & Vinegar chips and peanut butter, and I didn’t find out the gender until I changed my mind when I was 33 weeks pregnant, so for eight months I was pretty solid in my thoughts that I was having a boy. I was thrilled to have a little girl though! I never drink alcohol (especially because I’m only 18) or coffee or nicotine or anything, so I haven’t had problems with that. I like the fruit and candy craving though. [name]Even[/name] though it’s almost [name]December[/name], of course I would crave fresh fruit. C’est la vie.

With my oldest (a son), I desperately needed matzo. This was a little weird because I am not Jewish, nor had I ever been into unleavened bread before.
With my middle one (also a boy), cupcake batter without the egg.
The cravings with my pregnancy with my daughter were the most pronounced. I would feel like I was going to die if I did not eat at least 5-6 [name]McDonald[/name]'s hashbrowns in a sitting. This led to major problems because [name]McDonald[/name]'s only serves breakfast until 10:30am, and nothing else would do.
I’m expecting twin boys and I crave halved, canned pears. Not just any old pear, CANNED [name]PEARS[/name] CUT IN HALF. haha.
I’m pregnant with a boy, due [name]May[/name] 24 & I crave half vanilla half banana milk shakes from steak and shake.
I made it through my entire pregnancy without any cravings, but in the 6 weeks since he was born I’ve developed a serious sweet tooth. I know it takes more calories to maintain breastfeeding than pregnancy, but I can’t go anywhere these days without leaving with some [name]Easter[/name] candy. But even eating anything that’s not nailed down I’m still staying right at my pre-pregnancy weight.
I wouldn’t say I had serious cravings with my first girl. Though when I would drink a beverage, it HAD to have ice in it. And I was pregnant through the fall and winter mostly!
This time, with another girl, I have the occasional need for something sweet. And i’ve never really had a sweet tooth before.
But I really only get that craving if i’ve just had something salty. I guess I just need the balance.
With [name]Adam[/name] I really wanted baked potatoes, hummus, clementines, and baked pringles (Yes, just the baked ones).
With my second son it was rye bread, beans, tuna fish sandwiches, and pear slices.
With this one so far it’s only salt. Like loads and loads of salt.
I don’t know what determines each gender, but those were mine!
I’ve really been loving spicy chicken wings, just salad with ranch, watermelon, mango, and plums. Also, split pea soup!
I HAD to have oranges - I preferred Tangelos or Tangerines but most any peeled citrus would do in a pinch. McDonalds biscuits, plain with only strawberry jelly and always coke on ice. Oh and sour candy, especially sour gummy’s. (boy).
