Talking of trying for #3 and I have already started thinking what would we name a third.
We have two girls, [name_f]Marilla[/name_f] [name_f]Susan[/name_f] nn [name_f]Rilla[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] nn [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], what would you call a third girl? [name_m]Both[/name_m] names obviously end in an a which wasn’t on purpose but just happened that way after we found the names we like. I’m considering continuing in that fashion again only if the name is right though.
Some options I’ve considered:
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] nn [name_f]Loulou[/name_f]
[name_f]Carlotta[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]
Your daughters names are very pretty so! I like [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] a lot, not as much of a fan of [name_f]Loulou[/name_f] ([name_f]Lulu[/name_f] makes the nickname a little bit more feminine). Not as big of a fan of [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]/[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]
Names I would suggest:
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] nn. [name_f]Dottie[/name_f]/[name_f]Dolly[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Helene[/name_f]/[name_f]Helena[/name_f] (n [name_f]Elle[/name_f]/[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]?)
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]/[name_f]Josephina[/name_f] nn [name_u]Josie[/name_u]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f]/[name_f]Margaretta[/name_f]/[name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] nn [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helped! It seemed to me that you had a style for charming vintage names so I tried to stick towards those! Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!
I adore the idea of [name_f]Marilla[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], and [name_f]Carlotta[/name_f]. [name_m]How[/name_m] unique yet classic, and they just compliment each other so well! I think it’s perfect.
Thanks cmhinken, I had thought of [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] and Jospehine/Jospehina but wasn’t sure about them but I like them more seeing them written here.
I like [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] too. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is a old favourite but we have a food surname that makes it impossible.
I think I’ve told you this already, but I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] your daughters’ names! They are so very nice. It’s a challenge to come up with a name that matches as well as [name_f]Marilla[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] do. [name_f]Carlotta[/name_f] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] work well and I like the fact that they both feature the letter L since that ties in well with the others.
