Thoughts on the name?
I love it but my dh vetoed it. To me its a newer [name]Kevin[/name].
I’ve always liked [name]Gavin[/name]. [name]Every[/name] [name]Gavin[/name] I’ve met is such a cutie!
It’s a little bit 90s to me cause of [name]Gavin[/name] Rossdale. I do like it better than [name]Kevin[/name] or [name]Devin[/name] though.
I really like [name]Gavin[/name]! However, it is not one I would personally choose.
[name]Gavin[/name] is a great choice.
I love this name…our neighbours have a [name]Gavin[/name], so that took it off our list. For me, this name strikes a nice balance of not being too strong or too soft.
I like it (I’m American) and it feels relatively fresh to me. To my Australian husband, it’s like I hear [name]Dwight[/name] - a “solid un-made-up name” but dated and a bit “bogan” which is Aussie for redneck.
I love [name]Gavin[/name]! I’ve loved it for years, but my coworker had a baby [name]Gavin[/name] this [name]March[/name], and he’s just the cutest, so now I have an even better image to put with the name. It’s soft and striking and I imagine such a handsome, gentlemanly guy with the name. I think it’s great.
I love it! [name]One[/name] of my friends is named [name]Gavin[/name], too.
I always think of [name]Gavin[/name] “Spinner” [name]Mason[/name], a past-character on Degrassi <3 I would never use the name, but I’m not opposed to it 
I’m with your Aussie husband. Very dated and fairly bogan, I’m afraid.
I love [name]Gavin[/name], it was one of my top names for a boy a few years back.
This is a really obscure association, I’m certain, but every time I hear the name [name]Gavin[/name] all I can think is that creepy-crawly cockroach from Homestar Runner. Frankly, I don’t care how cute or adorable a baby [name]Gavin[/name] may seem, that “pest” association will never leave me.
I’m now just getting to reply to this and, I too was a Degrassi fan. rofl. Gavin & Mason is on my list though.
I feel like the odd one out who doesn’t like it! [name]Gavin[/name] is very 90’s to me (probably because of Degrassi) and I just dont’ care for the sound. It’s in the same ranks as [name]Kevin[/name] and [name]Kenneth[/name] for me: dated and sort of bleh. Sorry if that was harsh!
