[name]How[/name] do you feel about [name]Gavin[/name]. I have really been crushing on it lately. Any opinions on the name? Any combo ideas? I am thinking maybe [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Henry[/name] or [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Priestly[/name] but that is definitely not set. I am not sure if I will even add it, but it is really appealing to me lately.
Oh, I am so glad I’m not the only [name]Berry[/name] to love [name]Gavin[/name]!
bahaha. I absolutely love it but I feel like it’s one of those names that most Berries just would think is way too trendy and popular to ever use, haha. I’ve been told it’s Welsh, too, which only makes it appeal to me more, since I’m sort of on a Welsh kick lately! I like [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Joshua[/name] as combos… a former coworker of mine had a baby boy earlier this month and named him [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Michael[/name]–I think that was a gorgeous choice for her, even though I don’t like [name]Michael[/name] personally. I also love [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Russell[/name]! I like [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Henry[/name] best from your combos.
I think [name]Gavin[/name] is a perfectly nice name. I have a cousin named [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Lucas[/name]. If I were to use the name I would choose something a little offbeat to balance the popularity of [name]Gavin[/name]. Ideas:

Too out there for you?
i think its a very handsome name, and like it a lot. Though, its very popular, that may bother or may not bother you.
Thanks! Popularity does not bother me at all! I do like [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Russell[/name] and [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Joel[/name] a lot! I like [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Linus[/name] too but I am sure if I like it as much.
[name]Gavin[/name] must have a very different reputation in the States to what it has here in Australia.
To me it’s a name for a British geezer, or a Western [name]Sydney[/name] tradesman. [name]Just[/name] because those are the associations that name has had for me in the past.
Of course that’s unlikely to be an issue for you unless your son moves to Australia or [name]Britain[/name].
i quite like [name]Gavin[/name]… but i do feel it is too popular where i am… but i do quite like it!!
I love this because its so true. I moved from the US to Australia to be with my (Western [name]Sydney[/name] born and bred) husband. Who likes Gaelic names. I liked [name]Gavin[/name], which in the US is uncommon and a bit of a trendy choice for new babies and virtually unheard for grown men.
I wasn’t sure if he’d have ever heard of it really.
“Heard of it? Gazza? Common as. No, we aren’t naming a baby [name]Gavin[/name]. Absolutely not.”
Apparently it’s the national equivalent of [name]Darryl[/name]? Not made up, you wouldn’t go “what have you DONE” or anything, but a bit redneck and definitely not got a stylish new-car smell to it.
At least he doesn’t make fun of me for thinking it was uncommon. He saves that up for how impressed I had been with [name]Lachlan[/name].
I like [name]Gavin[/name]. It has always given me a country vibe, like the boy should grow up to be rodeo star or a country singer but I have no idea why.
I really like Gavin!

[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Gavin[/name]- would want to use it if a guy at my church did not have it. SUPER cute… and he is late 20’s so it’s a young name to me haha
Ooh I love [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Priestly[/name]!! [name]Priestly[/name] is interesting and takes away from the popularity of [name]Gavin[/name] really well.
I love the name [name]Gavin[/name] and am hoping my husband will come around on it if this baby is a boy. He will be [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Richard[/name] ([name]Richard[/name] is my father). I think I should absolutely get to name this boy since our first son (6 yrs) is [name]Jason[/name] [name]Michael[/name], which i’m sure most of you will find dreadfully boring, but it is after my husband and his father. And he is the only [name]Jason[/name] in his peer group that I know of. We’ve always called him JJ, but he prefers to go by [name]Jason[/name] with friends. I think [name]Jason[/name] and [name]Gavin[/name] sound nice together. I know [name]Gavin[/name] is considered a more popular name but I don’t really hear it all that much. Certain not like [name]Aiden[/name] or [name]Evan[/name] or [name]Owen[/name] or [name]Henry[/name], etc. I only associate it with super hot guys like [name]Gavin[/name] Rossdale and [name]Gavin[/name] Newsome.
I really like [name]Gavin[/name] [name]Henry[/name]. Also, how about [name]Gavin[/name] [name]James[/name]?
If you fancied something a little different you might try [name]Davin[/name] which means “beloved”.
