What are your thoughts on the name [name_f]Gemma[/name_f]?

Its nice. I don’t really like [name_f]Emma[/name_f] but [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] is ok. It’s simple but pretty. [name_f]Gem[/name_f] stone vibes.

I think it’s beautiful! Much shorter than most of the other names that give off similarly elegent vibes, so that’s a plus. It’s also a little quirky and spiritual to me, because of the gem connection. It’s the name of one of my best friends, and maybe it’s because her middle name is a [name_f]Disney[/name_f] name, but [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] feels fit for a princess to me. But I also feel like anyone could wear it! Heck, my [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] isn’t even particularly girly, she’s an offbeat creative type.

It’s distinguished yet simple, so it would stand out in a classroom without drawing unwanted attention from overly opinionated people.

I think it’s sparky and special! I really like this name. I’ve never met a [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] before (I’m in the US), so it feels a tad familiar but mostly really exciting and new. Like the common [name_f]Emma[/name_f], but with :sparkles: jazz :sparkles:

Depends on where you live I suppose. I understand that in [name_u]America[/name_u] it’s unusual, but in the UK and [name_u]Ireland[/name_u], it’s a very 1980s/1990s kind of name and it was kind of overused during those decades.

Trying to look past that, I think it has a nice meaning and some interesting historical namesakes.

I think [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] is lovely :gem:

She’s really bright, spunky and has lovely gemstone references. I went to school with a couple of Gemma’s so the name has a friendly nostalgic vibe which appeals to me as well. I think [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] is great.

It was my grandmother’s name, and I like it very much. For me, it has a vintage vibe and is ready for revival.

i personally love love looove [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] it’s so cute and sparkly and [name_f]Gem[/name_f] is the cutest nickname :love_letter: i can see it both on an adult and little girl, it’s like a perfect name to me :blush:
