I love these kinds of games so I figured I’d make one of my own! This will span 100 years, but it’s up to you on whether you’d like to specify years and be historically accurate or not.

I just googled an online dice roller, but you can use whatever you like! However, you can’t use the google one for the D100, so I’ll provide one here. Roll a D100

Roll ages for each parent on a D6:

  1. 22
  2. 23
  3. 24
  4. 25
  5. 26
  6. 27

Roll a D6 for the number of children they have:

  1. 0
  2. 1
  3. 1
  4. 2
  5. 2
  6. 3

If they have children, roll a D6 for their ages:

  1. Infant
  2. Infant
  3. 1
  4. 1
  5. 2
  6. 2

Roll any die for the children’s gender:

Odd = Boy
Even = Girl

Roll a D6 for each character. Once for a first name then again for a middle. You may roll a third time for a second middle name if you’d like:

Roll a D4 for last names and maiden names:

Optional:

Roll a D4 for number of pets:

  1. 0

  4. 3

Roll a D8 of the type of pet (you may be more specific on the breeds if you wish):

  1. Dog
  2. Cat
  3. Reptile (snake, turtle, etc.)
  4. Bird
  5. Fish
  6. Rodent (mouse, hamster, etc.)
  7. Dog
  8. Cat

Roll any dice for the pets’ gender:
Odd = Boy
Even = Girl

Roll a D4 for the pet’s name:

Optional:

If you choose, anyone over the age of 18 can have a career: Job Title Generator — Pick a random job!

Your character can also be a stay-at-home-parent, however, one parent must work.

If you’d like, you can make any adult in the ages of college a student in said career. (i.e. if career is doctor, they can be a student in medicine)
