Are [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Juliette[/name] too similar for sisters or does the French connection make them a nice pairing?
I think that [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Juliette[/name] make a good pairing for sisters!
I don’t think they are too similar at all. The initial sound is the only major similarity but I feel like some of that is negated by they fact that they start with different letters. I would use them together without question. I hope that makes sense.
I like them together!
[name]Juliette[/name] is french. [name]Genevieve[/name]? It depends on how you pronounce it. But overall, I think they’re great together.
I think they would be great sister names.
I think they would be fine.
I thought about those names for twins. We have the same name style. [name]Love[/name] your names.
I think they sound great together!
Thanks! It’s always fun to find someone on here with a similar style.
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I am loving [name]Juliette[/name] for our sibset!
[name]Both[/name] are lovely and make a very cute pair.
The only thing that would concern me is that it comes off as very French for someone who has no connection to [name]France[/name] (obviously not a problem if you do have one), but using the [name]Juliet[/name] spelling would negate that issue. I looove [name]Juliet[/name]/[name]Juliette[/name]!
I love [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Juliette[/name] for sisters. Yet I would stick with [name]Juliet[/name], I think she’s prettier and has a similar strength that matches up with [name]Madelyn[/name] and [name]Alexander[/name].
That’s a good point as well. The spelling doesn’t really matter to me either way, so [name]Juliet[/name] is fine too!
I would like it more if [name]Madelyn[/name] was [name]Madeline[/name]. We thought about using [name]Genevieve[/name] for a 3rd girl with [name]Vivienne[/name] but the 2 french names doesn’t work well with [name]Lilla[/name], I feel like it’s the same with [name]Madelyn[/name]. So not to similar to use with [name]Genevieve[/name] but to different to use with [name]Madelyn[/name].
@sara, I totally get that. But [name]Madelyn[/name] was named after my grandmother, whose name was spelled that way. Otherwise I would have used [name]Madeline[/name].
Your ideas are amazing! [name]Genevieve[/name] is my number one name, and [name]Juliette[/name] is number three ([name]Seraphina[/name] is number two). I hink they would be great as sisters- they are names I love, so I am very biased.
