I really adore both [name_m]George[/name_m] and [name_u]Leland[/name_u]! Not that I don’t like [name_m]Luke[/name_m], but I find it slightly boring right now. Maybe because I have heard it so much lately. For the record, I really like [name_m]Levi[/name_m] as well!
I like both, but I prefer [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_u]Leland[/name_u]. [name_m]Luke[/name_m] is a great name, but it doesn’t feel special to me like [name_m]George[/name_m] does. Maybe because [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] is so popular in my area.
Alright, thanks for the feedback!!
I prefer GL
but I have always had such a soft spot for [name_m]Luke[/name_m].
[name_m]George[/name_m] [name_m]Leyland[/name_m] has that something special imo. [name_f]Love[/name_f] it!
[name_m]George[/name_m] [name_u]Leland[/name_u] is gorgeous. Definitely my pick of the two.
Sorry - but every time I see/hear the name [name_m]Warren[/name_m] I think of the joke “what do you call a man with rabbits up his bum?” Not so handsome…
I love [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_u]Leland[/name_u] though. Cute, unexpexted and meaningful. Also a good match with a future sister [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]!
I have always felt that [name_m]Luke[/name_m] is adventurous and a bit wild. [name_m]George[/name_m] is more scholarly and mature. So far it has rang true for all the men I’ve known with these names. [name_m]George[/name_m] with nn [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] is my favorite from your list.
Although I prefer [name_m]Luke[/name_m] to [name_m]George[/name_m], I don’t think [name_m]Luke[/name_m] Gross sounds that good (kids may come up with “Puke, gross!”). [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_u]Leland[/name_u] is a very handsome and distinguished combo and although [name_m]George[/name_m] Gross isn’t ideal either, the names mean a lot to you so I would go with that one.
I would prefer a 2+ syllable name with Gross. But I prefer [name_m]Luke[/name_m] Gross to [name_m]George[/name_m] Gross. (I like both [name_u]Leland[/name_u] and [name_m]Warren[/name_m] in the middle.)
thanks, everyone
we may have a winner here with [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_u]Leland[/name_u]. We did the “say it out loud” test with a few phrases. [name_m]George[/name_m] just seemed to fit better than [name_m]Luke[/name_m]!! I am glad the majority of you agree! [name_u]Leland[/name_u] as a middle will be VERY meaningful to my side of the family. thanks so much.
