Getting to the nickname Rory (boy)?

To start, yes, I know [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is a full name for a boy. I appreciate that and I think it’s a handsome name all on its own. But I don’t love it as a standalone name. It does’t feel as “complete” to me as a lot of my other favorites. So I am looking for a full name that could maybe lead to the nickname [name_u]Rory[/name_u], but I am at a loss. The only things I can come up with are [name_m]Roark[/name_m] (reminds me too much of The Fountainhead) or [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] (nice but not my cup of tea). Does anyone else have any suggestions?

[name_m]Conroy[/name_m] was my first thought. I think some of the names from your signature could work: [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] and [name_m]Cormac[/name_m]. [name_m]George[/name_m] could work also, but the ‘g’ sound is pretty heavy there.

Suggestions! Some of these are a bit of a stretch.
