Idk whether this is the right place to post it but since I’m not a parentberry yet, I thought you girl mums out there would have a better idea on this. I’m trying to buy a gift for a friend’s baby (probably 3-6 months clothes range by the end of summer when I see them abroad) but I’m such a girly girl so I can’t decide which dress to get. Which of the 4 options should I go for?:
(Not a mom.) I like the bottom two best! I think the blue one is a bit more fun, so I’ll go with that!

Though, in all honesty, when the baby girl I nanny now was 3-6 months, I’d never dress her in a dress. 
Onesies were so much more convenient for constant diaper changes, naps, and spit-up messes, especially more towards 3 months. Perhaps a really sweet onesie or bib could be a good gift idea, if you’re not married to the dress idea!

[name_u]True[/name_u] I did think about that but I love dressing people up and in the summer there are several events where we get dressed up (weddings happen very often, several celebrations of the culture etc) and since everyone else will be gifting them the basics I though it’s be nice to think about special events (since we have many in our culture but no one seems to think about buying for them in the early stages)

Those are adorable! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is definitely the navy dress with stars. It’s my favorite color, and my favorite motif (starry night)! Plus, I think it’s more unique than the others. She will probably get a lot of pastel and/or floral dresses.

All are cute but I love the top right the best. The dark color would help hide stains and drool, to some extent. It also doesn’t appear to have itchy materials or major frills, which are super uncomfortable…those things look cute but comfort of the baby is much more important than appearance.

The dark blue is my favourite but if she has a dark complexion I think the bottom left would be beautiful on her.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is the top right with bottom right as a second. I love the white dress but white gets dirty and stained so easy.

@may.rose @snowmaiden @AerieEerie @namergirl3 @tonguetwisted @WhiteGardenia @withlovefromlilliet @LibelluleClaire Thanks for all of your help, I’m still in love with all of the dresses (still can’t decide the colour of the starry dress and I really like the other one too) and it makes me want to have a daughter to dress all up but I’m thinking of buying a dress in a larger size later on (they do baby, mini and adult matching) to maybe give as a gift for their 1st b-day (or older) since by then they can dress up for events with less recipes for disaster. Now I’m still in another dilemma as I’ve found two really nice sleepsuit sets (very practical, also come with a toy) that are just as girly as a dress and I can’t decide, might have to get them both and decide once they arrive and send one back or keep it as a gift for someone else!!! Thanks for all your advice though because now I’ve realised babies don’t really wear dresses and its a recipe for disaster with them constantly being sick, spitting up etc!!
