Heleen’s great-aunt [name_f]Neema[/name_f] passes away and leaves them $3000 in her will. The couple decide to put two thirds of it to one side for their future children’s college funds.

Year 2
Heleen falls pregnant! She gives birth to a beautiful baby girl who they name [name_f]Christina[/name_f] [name_f]Molly[/name_f] Gregson. [name_m]Josh[/name_m] gets a promotion from prop assistant to prop manager.

Year 3
Heleen gives birth again, this time to a lovely little boy. [name_u]Welcome[/name_u] to the world, [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] Gregson! They also are successful in their application to adopt a baby boy, whom they name [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]River[/name_u].

Year 4
Despite not trying to conceive, Heleen falls pregnant once again and gives birth to a second daughter. They name her [name_f]Judith[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] Gregson. Heleen decides to pick up some college classes to fill her time as she now doesn’t speak to many adults during the day. She takes a language class studying Japanese as she hopes this will help to further her career.

Year 5
Heleen and [name_m]Josh[/name_m] do not have any children this year as their house is already busy enough. Josh’s parents have marital issues and split up.

Year 6
Christina’s preschool holds a miniature sports day for the children, and [name_f]Christina[/name_f] wins all of the races. [name_m]Josh[/name_m] and Heleen are very proud of her, and sign her up for athletics clubs so she can carry on running.

Year 7

Year 8

Year 9
A big life change happens this year as the [name_m]Grant[/name_m] family makes a huge cross-country move! They post their things ahead to a storage facility somewhere in [name_u]Oakland[/name_u], [name_u]California[/name_u], then pile themselves into an RV (all seven of them, plus a very nervous dog) and have an absolute adventure exploring all of the major tourist sites they go past.

Year 10
Tired of working late all of the time and missing all of the best moments with the kids, [name_m]Josh[/name_m] decides to go back to college. It’s tough going but they make it work. He majors in fashion with a focus on costume design as he wants to branch out into costume as well as props in the future.

Year 11
Maybe it’s the change in hours, maybe it’s the change in lifestyle, but Heleen and [name_m]Josh[/name_m] decide they want another baby, and this year they welcome another little girl! They name her Absinthe [name_f]Madonna[/name_f] Gregson. They also decide to renew their vows this year, and have a gorgeous sunset ceremony on the beach, surrounded by friends, family and their own children.

Year 12
[name_f]Christina[/name_f] wins another athletics competition at school and breaks the school’s record for the 800m run. She wants to start doing cross-country when she starts middle school next year.

Year 13
Despite not actively trying to conceive, [name_m]Josh[/name_m] and Heleen find themselves with a surprise bundle of joy on the way! They name him [name_m]Santiago[/name_m] [name_u]Chance[/name_u] Gregson but he soon starts going by [name_m]Santi[/name_m]. [name_m]Josh[/name_m] starts a Youtube channel about the realities of life working behind the scenes in theatre and it is surprisingly popular.

Year 14
The adoption agency that the couple worked with years ago (when they adopted Mikey) reach out to Heleen and [name_m]Josh[/name_m] this year, asking them if they’d be willing to open their home to another baby boy. [name_m]Josh[/name_m] and Heleen agree and welcome their eighth baby to the family, whom they name [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] Gregson!

Year 15
On completion of his college degree, [name_m]Josh[/name_m] suddenly gets a job offer from a company on Broadway! It’s too good an opportunity to pass up, so the family makes the trek back across the continental US to the [name_u]East[/name_u] [name_u]Coast[/name_u], and settle in Hoboken (finding somewhere big enough to fit their whole family in NYC was never going to be possible!). Heleen finds work in one of the UN’s offices and the kids quickly make new friends at school.

Year 16
Tired of living on top of one another, Heleen and [name_m]Josh[/name_m] declare enough is enough and buy a bigger house. Some of the boys still have to share a bedroom, but at least now [name_f]Christina[/name_f] and the eldest two boys have their own rooms. [name_m]Josh[/name_m] builds [name_f]Christina[/name_f] a shelf for her athletics’ awards, whilst [name_m]Mikey[/name_m] dedicates a whole wall to his book collection and [name_m]Thorn[/name_m] paints his room a very vampiric purple and black.

Year 17
Josh’s mother has marital problems with her new husband and gets a second divorce. She comes to visit from [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] and spends a few weeks sleeping on their couch.

Year 18
Heleen wins the lottery! They use the money to splash out on remodelling their house so that all of the children have their own private spaces and separate bedrooms, and they extend the kitchen so that they can fit everyone in there at once without treading on each other’s toes.

Year 19
[name_m]Josh[/name_m] inherits $3,000 from his aunt. Like the money that Heleen inherited from her great-aunt when they were first married, the couple decide to invest it in their children’s futures and puts it in a college fund.

Year 20
Heleen takes up a new hobby! She dives into watercolour painting and finds it a soothing activity in her busy life. For her, the act of focusing on the paint is a form of mindfulness and it helps her to relax.

Year 21
Heleen’s father passes away this year.

Year 22
Heleen unexpectedly falls pregnant at the age of 53 years old with a little girl. They decide to name her after Josh’s favourite character in literature, the spectacular [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] Doolittle. Year 13: no pregnancies! 8 is great for us right now. And me, being adventurous, decides to try out for a small speaking role in a new movie being filmed near our house! I did not get the role but it was still a fun experience!

Year 14: no pregnancies again this year because we are making yet another big move! And by big, we mean, to a bigger house! Cramming a family of 10 into a 4 bedroom house was definitely not ideal, and this new house gives our family room to grow!

Year 15: Big Announcement! We had identical triplet daughters!! This was shocking for allllllll of us! And for another twist, last year we had started the process to adopt again, and it became finalized two months after the triplets were born. We are just blessed beyond imagination I guess! Our new daughter is named [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] (her biological grandmothers name) Brother. She is originally from the Dominican Republic.

Year 16: We have our eighth daughter this year, her name is [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] Brother! Her name was picked by [name_u]Zeke[/name_u]. Our YouTube channel is gaining popularity! We got our first YouTube Play button this year!

Year 17: [name_u]Baby[/name_u] girl #9 has joined the world this year! Her name is [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_u]Harper[/name_u] Brother, her middle name [name_u]Harper[/name_u] honoring Rowan’s mother [name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]. In this same year, a month after [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is born, my father passes away after a long battle with cancer. He will be missed.

Year 18: no pregnancy this year, maybe that’s a good thing…haha! In other news, [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] gets a promotion! He is now the head music teacher at his school!

Year 19: This year we have a beautiful daughter named [name_u]Ari[/name_u] [name_u]Jo[/name_u] Brother. She is named after Libby’s favorite book, “Little Women.” I also take up a new hobby this year, painting! I am quite good at it, too! Perhaps one day I will be able to sell my works!

Year 20: no pregnancies this year. We do adopt a baby though! His name is [name_m]Winston[/name_m] [name_u]Jack[/name_u] Brother. He is originally from [name_u]Colorado[/name_u], USA.

Year 21: This year we have our 5th son. His name is [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_m]Lloyd[/name_m] Brother and he is a joyful baby and a wonderful addition to our large family. Year 23: no pregnancy this year, and I think I’m almost ready to be done having kids! If [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] ends up being our last, I wouldn’t be too upset! Also, [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] won an award from his college for being involved in more than 3 sports!

Year 24: no pregnancies. I have decided to write a book about being a mom of a large family and the judgement we’ve been given. It is published and does pretty well! Lots of moms of big families feel the same, and the book meant a lot to them!

Year 5: We still struggle conceiving. I decide to write a book spilling all the secrets about travelling whilst on a budget.

Year 7: We move across the country into a rural area.
Year 8: I’m pregnant with our second daughter! We name her [name_u]Rumi[/name_u] [name_u]Senna[/name_u] [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] Solevita. I start a blog about our life with a stay-at-home dad and a working mum.
Year 9: We tried for a third baby, but are unsuccessful this year. We adopt a kitten and name her [name_f]Antonia[/name_f].
Year 10: I’m pregnant with our first son! We name him [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] [name_m]Doc[/name_m] Solevita. We move across the country again, but this time to a city.
Year 11: We’ve always wanted four children, so we’re incredibly happy when we find out I’m pregnant again. We name our third daughter [name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_u]Camille[/name_u] [name_f]Blanche[/name_f] Solevita. During my pregnancy I pick up on a new hobby: puzzling.

Year 14: I pick up my blog again.
Year 15: [name_f]My[/name_f] mum [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] “Evvie” passes away. I was unexpectedly pregnant, but suffered a miscarriage. This made us realise we do want to have one last baby.
Year 16: We didn’t conceive this year. We move into a bigger house this year. Where every child has their own room!
Year 17: We decided that this would be the last year to try to conceive. We definitely succeeded… I’m pregnant with twins. We have one last daughter and one last son. We name them [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] “Seb” [name_m]Lucius[/name_m] [name_u]Reagan[/name_u] Solevita and [name_u]Philadelphia[/name_u] “Pia” [name_f]Evvie[/name_f] [name_f]Pomme[/name_f] Solevita. I get a promotion!
Year 18: Maddox’ parents miraculously get back together.
Year 19: [name_u]Maddox[/name_u] starts working again and I decide to become a stay-at-home mum.
Year 20: We move into a bigger house, so that even the twins will have their own room.
Year 21: [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] wins a football competition!
Year 22: We hear that Abram’s biological parents had another baby, whom is also unable to live at home. We decide that despite our age, we’re going to take in Abram’s brother. We name him [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] [name_m]Isaak[/name_m] [name_u]Eleven[/name_u] Solevita. His biological parents are [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], so we honour his father by his middle name.
Year 23: We move yet again to a bigger house.
Year 24: We go to Finland, which has been on our travel bucket list for ages. We take all our children with us, our first big family holiday.
Year 25: We hear that [name_m]Abram[/name_m] and [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] have had another sibling, we feel very strongly that we have to keep these siblings together, so we take in their sister [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]Issy[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u] Solevita. We gave all the siblings A-names to have them have another connection in our big family, [name_u]Issy[/name_u] is after her biological father [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and [name_u]Lou[/name_u] after her biological mother [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. With [name_f]Ada[/name_f], our family is more than complete. At 48 and 52 years old and 25 years of marriage, we feel incredibly blessed.
