Girl Leo? 🦁

What do you think about [name_m]Leo[/name_m] for a girl?

I know it’s very popular on the boy’s list, but I follow someone with a daughter named [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and think it’s pretty cute. I like the name [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] but haven’t been able to convince DH.

How cute would [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]/Leo and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]/Max be as sisters?!

Thanks,
x

I definitely think it works as a nickname for [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] or [name_f]Leonora[/name_f], or even [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], but otherwise I’m not keen on it as a standalone for a girl as it does feel a bit too masculine

I LOVEEEE [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]!! Nickname [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is the cutest

I know a [name_f]Leonor[/name_f] who goes by [name_m]Leo[/name_m] sometimes and I know of a little girl named [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as well. I actually don’t love the name on boys, but I think it’s cute on girls!

Leonie/Leo & [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]/Max would be SO cute!!

I think [name_m]Leo[/name_m] would be a cute nickname for a girl, but not as a standalone. [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] is cute. Or maybe [name_f]Lenora[/name_f]. You could maybe even make something like [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] or [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] work.

I think it’s very sweet. I prefer it as a nickname (but I like [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] as a standalone. Hmm.)

Leonie/Leo and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]/Max!! Adorable!

I love [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] nn [name_m]Leo[/name_m], and it goes so perfectly with [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] nn [name_u]Max[/name_u]! I actually have both [name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] on my girls list as nns for various other names. I think they make perfect sibling names.

Aww [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Max[/name_u] would be adorable!! I love [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]!

As long as it’s only a nickname, go for it!

I love [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as a nickname! One of my top sister pairings used to be [name_f]Leona[/name_f] nn [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] nn [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] are adorable!

I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as a girl’s nickname but dislike [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]. Better are [name_f]Leona[/name_f], [name_f]Leonora[/name_f], [name_f]Lenor[/name_f]/e, even [name_u]Endellion[/name_u] - [name_m]Lio[/name_m] or [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Max[/name_u]/Margaux as sisters.

I love it as a nickname for [name_f]Leonie[/name_f], [name_f]Leona[/name_f], [name_f]Leonora[/name_f], but not standalone. [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Max[/name_u] as a nicknamed sibset is adorable.

They would be gorgeous :ok_hand:

I love [name_m]Leo[/name_m] for a girl. I love it as a nickname ([name_f]Leonie[/name_f], [name_f]Leonor[/name_f]) or as a full name. But I think the idea of those chic, [name_u]French[/name_u] full names plus sweet, gender-bending nicknames for sisters is just brilliant!

Definitely works as a nickname in my opinion. A little too masculine for a standalone girl’s name for me, though, but I definitely see it working

I know a couple of Leonies who are [name_m]Leo[/name_m] for short. It’s a natural nickname to me but I don’t like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] as a separate name for a girl

[name_f]Leona[/name_f] nn: [name_m]Leo[/name_m] would be super cute

I had a friend growing up named [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] who we called [name_m]Leo[/name_m]

Either [name_f]Leona[/name_f] or [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] would go nicely with [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]

Leora or Leota are other Leo ideas

I like [name_f]Leona[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Leonie[/name_f], but [name_m]Leo[/name_m] for a girl is totally cute!

Leo on a girl is so cute! [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] ‘[name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Max[/name_u]’ are the cutest

I agree with these names! It could be the next [name_u]Sam[/name_u] ([name_f]Samantha[/name_f]) or [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] ([name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]) of this generation.
