Girl name help please! Rose/Rosie/Rose-May sound names

[name_m]Hi[/name_m], my hubby and I finally found the name we both agreed on after a long debate!
now we [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosie[/name_f] which sounds very cute to us…

But people say [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] is just a nn for [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], or other [name_f]Rose[/name_f] names (Rosamary, [name_f]Roselle[/name_f], Roselia, etc

Is it natural to name with hyphen [name_f]May[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] as one first name?
Or better to do [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/or [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] first name and [name_f]May[/name_f] as a middle name?
What does “[name_f]May[/name_f] [name_f]Rose/name_f” sound like?
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]

thanks for all your opinions in advance.
Please please please!!
I would really appreciate it <3

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]! Usually Hyphenated names are always said together so if you name her [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-[name_f]Ellen[/name_f] for example, people will always call her [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-[name_f]Ellen[/name_f] not just [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. I think in this case it would be better to give her whichever [name_f]Rose[/name_f] name you pick first, then a middle, or two middles if you like. I like [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] a lot, personally I think it is very cute and it could be a name all by itself.

I think [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] would be a perfect name. People may try to tell you [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] is a nickname, but what matters is you love the name (and plenty of people use traditionally nicknames as names, and there is nothing wrong with that). If you love [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] above others such as [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], then go with the name that you love- especially if you are going to nickname her [name_f]Rose[/name_f] anyways.

I think both Rose and Rosie are lovely. There is no problem with Rosie as the full name if that’s what you choose. Don’t let other people saying it’s just a nickname put you off. In UK Rosie is popular as the full name, and in Australia where I live, there is a well-known adult woman called Rosie Batty - never heard her go by anything else. Mostly I try to avoid hyphenated names. Rosie May is lovely. Rose May doesn’t flow quite as well, but it’s still fine.

Our daughter is [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. We mostly call her [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], occasionally [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - sometimes Grossy [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] whens shes stinky  We wanted to go with just [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] but decided on something more formal in case she wants it when she is older.

I think [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] would work beautifully as a first and middle name. I personally would avoid hyphenating the name.

[name_f]May[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sounds more like a character name, like [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_u]Red[/name_u].

I like [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], Rhosyn, [name_f]Roisin[/name_f], [name_f]Ruza[/name_f], and [name_f]Roslyn[/name_f].

[name_f]Rosie[/name_f] could work as a name on its own, and a little girl named [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is super cute, however I can’t imagine a teenager or adult with the name [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]. I would go with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]. When she’s little, call her [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f], and then as she gets older she would have the option to go by [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f], [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]. Either way, it’s a great name.

I like [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] for you; you could call her both [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosie[/name_f] and [name_f]May[/name_f] as nicknames.

You might also consider Rosamel or Melrose - both beautiful names!

I think [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] works as a stand alone! I like the look of Mayrose, together as well.
My daughter is named [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f], so I am extremely partial to that [name_f]Rose[/name_f] name! [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] would be darling <3

I think [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is lovely. If she decides she wants a more grown up name when she is older, she could shorten it to [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I think you should go with what you love.
