I am in the process of adopting (eek!) and am in search of the perfect baby girl name. Should this precious baby be a boy, he will likely be [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] “Gus” after my dad. But I am also considering [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_u]Bennett[/name_u], [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m], and [name_u]Hayes[/name_u].
A girl name has been so much harder, though. I have a list of several names that I like, but I’m not sure I love any of them. I had always said I would use [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] as a middle name because my grandparents are [name_u]Kay[/name_u] and La, but I just don’t know. This is hard
[name_f]My[/name_f] list consists of
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] “Lilibet” (my middle name and a combination of my mom’s name (Lisa) and my aunt’s (Beth))
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] (grandma’s middle name was Louise)
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] (family name)
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] (family name)
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonore[/name_f]
[name_f]Birdie[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
Mae/Maeve/Margaret
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Kayla[/name_f], [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Kayla[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] and [name_f]Hope[/name_f] [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] would be nice!!
Your boy’s name is lovely, as are your maybes, especially [name_u]Jude[/name_u].
Of your girls’ names I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Freya[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f] are at the top of the list for me and go beautifully with your boys’ names, should you use (one of) them in the future (or the other way around).
With [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], I really like [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Hope[/name_f], or [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]. They are word-y nature names that aren’t too matchy matchy.
I think [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] “Gus” is adorable! I love the meaning behind it.
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] work nicely. I like both of those names. Again, I really like the family meaning behind the names you chose. That’s beautiful.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Michaela[/name_f] (For Kayla) from your list.
I recommend [name_f]Argenta[/name_f], [name_f]Nancy[/name_f], [name_f]Moira[/name_f], [name_f]Athena[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosette[/name_f] based on your list.
