I love [name]Claire[/name], and I used to love [name]Olivia[/name], but I know so many of them that the name just seems dull now. If you don’t know any, you should check the popularity of your state-- maybe it’s not used as much in your area. [name]Even[/name] if it is, I’m sure she won’t be one of three in a class, since the percentage of babies with the most popular names is significantly lower than before. [name]Both[/name] are great names, though, either way. And actually, I think [name]Claire[/name] is perfect with [name]Nathan[/name]!
Good luck!
I voted for [name]Claire[/name], but how about [name]Clara[/name]? Since you like [name]Olivia[/name], I thought you might like the fact that [name]Clara[/name] is so soft and warm.
It could be different where you are, but I hear [name]Olivia[/name] EVERYWHERE.
[name]Olivia[/name] isn’t popular for nothing it has glamour, femininity and it is a classic name. It gets 10/10 from me.
I find [name]Claire[/name] boring.
I actually know 2 people that named their babies [name]Clara[/name] this past year - 1 family member and 1 friend. This also puts me off of using [name]Claire[/name] - I feel it’s too similar to [name]Clara[/name].
I think you love [name]Olivia[/name] so you should use it!
As stated above, there is a reason why the popular names are popular, it’s because they’re usually lovely! Personally I do try to hunt out the less common names but if you don’t know many Olivias in your area then it doesn’t have to be an issue for you.
Have you considered [name]Olive[/name], [name]Livia[/name] (not a spelling variation but a completely seperate name), [name]Liv[/name], [name]Levia[/name], [name]Lydia[/name] or [name]Lilia[/name]?
These are great suggestions. There’s also [name]Lavinia[/name], [name]Viviana[/name], [name]Ophelia[/name], [name]Olympia[/name], and [name]Aurelia[/name], which you may like.
Seeing as you have two Claras among people you know, it sounds like [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] are actually the names you should rule out due to popularity, not [name]Olivia[/name]
Perhaps you would like [name]Cora[/name]?
[name]Claire[/name] vs. [name]Olivia[/name]
I pick [name]Claire[/name]. Gorgeous, classic and I think it ages better and is more unique.
[name]Olivia[/name] [name]Claire[/name] for sure!!! [name]Don[/name]'t worry about there being too many [name]Olivia[/name]'s - your baby girl will be unique and fine no matter what. go w/ the name that you love. but I do love the combination of your two favorites
I voted for [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]. despite its popularity, it is a gorgeous name and one that will age well.
[name]Olivia[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]. hard to beat that combo.
I love, love, love [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]! [name]Olivia[/name] is one of my favorites unfortunately my dh is not crazy about it so it’s not on our list. Beautiful name and flows well together.
