They’re all lovely, but I think [name]Elliana[/name] [name]Christine[/name] has the best flow. [name]Elliana[/name] [name]Louise[/name] sounds a bit awkward with the double Ls.
thanks for the input… I should add that most of these have family significance. [name]Louise[/name] is my [name]MIL[/name]'s middle name, [name]Elizabeth[/name] is my future [name]SIL[/name]'s middle name, and one of my mother’s long time favorites (this was going to be my brother’s name, but he turned out to be a boy!! lol), [name]Catherine[/name] is my late great grandmother’s name. [name]Christine[/name] is something I thought sounded pretty with it and I thought may tie into our [name]Christian[/name] faith with the meaning. She will probably we called [name]Ellie[/name] at least on occasion if not often. We know [name]Ellie[/name] is popular, but we do love it! She also would have the last name “Gross,” pronounced with a long O, as in, Ew, Gross!
They are all quite pretty. I like them in this order. The first three are almost tied for first place:
[name]Elliana[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
I do like [name]Eliana[/name] with one L-- it feels much more trim. Since its so liquid and long, at four syllables, I think the middle should be only two syllables and should contain crisp, strong consonant sou ds for balance. [name]Christine[/name] fits the bill perfectly. Similarly:
[name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Simone[/name]
[name]Celeste[/name]
[name]Marin[/name]
[name]Blade[/name]- I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Corrine[/name] as a first name. Hubby is not feeling it as much for a first, but may like it for a middle. Thanks for the input. My middle name is [name]Kathleen[/name]. I like the sounds of it also with [name]Elliana[/name], but I am trying to stay away from Ks because her initials would be EKG. We both like the double L. Since the name is new to us, neither of us were used to seeing it with a since L and both prefer double.
[name]Elliana[/name] is a pretty name. I prefer [name]Catherine[/name] in the middle because both [name]Louise[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name] have Ls in them which makes the overall name L heavy and sort of tongue twistery. [name]Catherine[/name] with the hard C sound and more consonant sounds balances the vowel-heavy [name]Elliana[/name].
